I have noticed on a few of the pics up on various site what appears to be glue squeezing out from under the numerals also. Perhaps ZF is in too much of a hurry to get something out before CNY. But i am still in the camp that thinks this will not come out until after CNY to build anticipation and demand from folks like us.............."Get it now or CNY will come and you will be out of lucky (Followed by fast breathing and high heart rate)"

Does this look like a glue?

Puretime posted closeup pictures of the Petit Prince Edition, bit worried about Lume and numerals cutout (visible shape flaw at 7 and 4) , what do you guys think?

You're not going to get this particular specimen, so why the concern?

the insufficient autowind issue solved! I let myself to use Angus' photos to show what the problem is. The rotor seems to catch the soft metal cap. Photos:

After several days of wearing I could observe small circle on internal side of soft metal cap - the sign the screw on the rotor was scratching while trying to rotate. I just took some sanding paper and sanded some microns off the internal surface of the cap. Now it autowinds like a boss :)

^ Just remove that cap. I remove that cap on ALL my IWCs.

Unfortunately, the cap is what is pressing movement towards the sapphire side. In ZF 5009 there are NO movement tabs - the movement is being aligned by crown and pressed by soft metal cap + spring + caseback.

No tabs. Remove caseback, remove crown and you can shake the movement out of case. I already did it to remove debris from dial.

WTFF? Geezus.

Is the cap theoretically capable of securing the movement axially (toward sapphire) without impeding the rotor?

Radially, does the movement fit snugly inside the case, or is there play?
