The blue regular FiftySix is incredible and will pass even close scrutiny. I have the gen fifty six (silver dial) for comparison. Happy to show you some side by side shots. The blue is spot on. The biggest tell on the rep is the shit strap but Tan_Go can give you a better-than-gen vacheron strap for about half their price.

It’s definitely superb.

The lower left pusher is not an issue IMO, the watch is stunningly rendered, it would be the last thing on some competitive jerk’s rep spotting checklist.

Does anyone know the dimensions for the straps? Length of both pieces, the taper, and the hole size for the deployent clasp? Looking to get a strap custom made but I don't know what to ask for. thanks

It’s 20x18 with the deployment.

This watch should’ve been offered from VC with 20x16. 18mm is just not elegant and looks clunky with the watch IMO.

Length is standard.

These are high end dress watches which conventionally would be worn with a long sleeve shirt, I find they wear pretty big at 40mm. Suitable for a man who wears a 43-45mm sports watch certainly.

It appears bigger than 40mm on hand, trust me

The only flaw i can see is the Stainless Steel engraving on the RG Plated clasp Lol

True, and the RG gens, which are produced after 2020, come with just Tang Buckle, no RG deployant anymore. At least in Germany Lol

I’ve heard the same. The RG deployment is nice but it is the same as the Offshore sports etc models deployment (albeit in 18mm not 20mm) - it’s rugged and not refined like the Fifty Six series watches.

Either way, the tang is much more suitable for the watch case.

Again I do find it odd that VC chose 18mm buckle width.

It’s a custom one from Monstraps I had made last year. A similar in quality option is ZicZac, much less expensive certainly. I have a ZicZac in red in a different size and it’s pretty close in overall quality relative to the Monstraps strap.

My QCs were rejected, partly by me and partly by my TD. There was dust all on the dial. Terrible QCs from ZF these days, but with all the raids, patience is key.

I just wanted to post an update, I used the HP1300 oil to silence the rotor on this loud Miyota. It worked really well. I was going to take the rotor out if it didn’t, but I am very happy with the outcome
