So has anyone received the new version yet? Is the lume actually two colours or is it just an early prototype for the TD's?

Honestly the lume on the RO is so weak (slightly better on gen but not by much) that it will not light up like a panerai or sub, you will not notice the lume difference 99% of the time you're wearing it. As long as the day time lume color looks the same that's all that matter.

There are improvements that have been made on the new ZF version ?
on your pictures I see that the base of the needles remains the same (I think it is the improvement that everyone expects)

In my 15202 the hands base look different than the starting post pictures. Someone can tell me what version I got?
could be from BF (when comparing with pictures on trusty time)

Where I need to be.
Afaik these are custom rep hands and fit only 2121 gen movement unless a talented modder can do magic. You might source these hands from TDs or from WeChat sellers like popup.
The custom hands can likely be modded to fit the miyota. I’ve made the 15400 gen hands fit the miyota so this shouldn’t be an issue. Takes patience more than talent sir. Lol

Gen hands can fit the miyota movement with some modding done.
Mr Legends, Do you think it would be a logical choice to buy the ZF 15202 and install original hands? (I'm not sure if I can find a master to do this.) Or can ZF solve this situation with v4 in the future?

They say it's not fit because of Miyota movement. I don't believe it either, I don't understand how they still can't do these hands even though they do all these things properly.

Gen hands can fit the miyota movement with modding but I’ll recommend you use the gen hands with the 2122 caliber.
Even for $1900, a 2120 Caliber movement can be found on e-commerce sites. The 2120 movement is 0.6mm thinner than 2121 caliber. Can it be fit with original size of 15202?

Afaik caliber 2120 doesn't have date complication.

Having said that... I'd settle for a 15202 without the gen like date change... Modding the Mitoyta to remove quickset date seems so backwards... Yeah I know more gen like, but who cares... there are so many other flaws, that having quick set when you weren't supposed to was hardly the biggest tell in the world. Plus quality of life...
Out of curiosity mainly, as Im not sure the time lost in date changes is enough to push me into tinkering..

What is required, if one wants to **return the quickset date change** back into the myota 9015 inside the ZF 150202 v1?
Is some part necessary, or its just a matter of skill and steady hands?

I know its not gen-like, but.. you know.. life is short :D

Quickest way for you to achieve that is to swap in an AP decorated miyota movement, used in the 15400 or diver.

Thanks for the reply.
I was thinking one way is to buy a myota 9015 (undecorated) and then play around with decorations and whatnot. With clumsy hands, I figured its a way (not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive) to get to learn about movements and test the water with screwdriver in hand. Plus, having two movements at hand means that there is some sort of backup in case of misfortune.
