Afaik these are custom rep hands and fit only 2121 gen movement unless a talented modder can do magic. You might source these hands from TDs or from WeChat sellers like popup.Did you learn something about it?
The custom hands can likely be modded to fit the miyota. I’ve made the 15400 gen hands fit the miyota so this shouldn’t be an issue. Takes patience more than talent sir. Mr Legends, Do you think it would be a logical choice to buy the ZF 15202 and install original hands? (I'm not sure if I can find a master to do this.) Or can ZF solve this situation with v4 in the future?Gen hands can fit the miyota movement with some modding done.
Even for $1900, a 2120 Caliber movement can be found on e-commerce sites. The 2120 movement is 0.6mm thinner than 2121 caliber. Can it be fit with original size of 15202?Gen hands can fit the miyota movement with modding but I’ll recommend you use the gen hands with the 2122 caliber.
Afaik caliber 2120 doesn't have date complication.Even for $1900, a 2120 Caliber movement can be found on e-commerce sites. The 2120 movement is 0.6mm thinner than 2121 caliber. Can it be fit with original size of 15202?
Out of curiosity mainly, as Im not sure the time lost in date changes is enough to push me into tinkering..Having said that... I'd settle for a 15202 without the gen like date change... Modding the Mitoyta to remove quickset date seems so backwards... Yeah I know more gen like, but who cares... there are so many other flaws, that having quick set when you weren't supposed to was hardly the biggest tell in the world. Plus quality of life...
Quickest way for you to achieve that is to swap in an AP decorated miyota movement, used in the 15400 or diver.Out of curiosity mainly, as Im not sure the time lost in date changes is enough to push me into tinkering..
What is required, if one wants to **return the quickset date change** back into the myota 9015 inside the ZF 150202 v1?
Is some part necessary, or its just a matter of skill and steady hands?
I know its not gen-like, but.. you know.. life is short
