my 8F strap fits just fine. KIND of loose, but not really.

ZF straps are up on inTime and they look perfect IMO.

Also, I got the brown dial in. I put my gen brown strap on the watch and also compared it to the gen dial. ZF screwed the pooch with this dial color, too much red.

I will say though, brown dial is a wonderful addition to the collection. I don't think I have one brown dial stainless steel watch. I think IWC makes a Pilot watch with brown dial, but I can't think of other popular watches with brown dial.

Reached out to multiple TDs and all are telling me no stock of the ZF rubber straps yet. Anyone else heard differently?

my non TD said ZF is not even producing rubber bands (yet). So I guess all the "ZF" labeled rubber bands are from a different factory. Most likely 8F...

I have an 8F rubber and the clasp and attachment mechanism are different than the ZF pics. It's not the 8F rubber.

That’s 100% correct. I have spent extensive time comparing the rubbers of both and especially the Clasps, as 8F clasp isn’t as good or even close to gen as the ones that come with ZF, they’re almost indistinguishable From the original IMO. I have been comparing zoomed pictures and of both.

plus I want to add, my dealer quoted me for both straps 1 month ago, 8F was 47$ if not mistaken. While ZF strap was quoted for 128$ ish.

So yeah, ZF is definitely not using 8F straps.

I paid $100 for the 8F.... Too much, tbh

Is it though? It's just a modified Miyota

From what I have read the modification is weird, might actually even be an A23j movement but regardless it's modified to the point that it can't have replaceable parts for it

I'd love to be wrong on this though

So much fatter than XF 2000V. Of course that's true to gen. Side note: the 2000V is posted in the sale section right now

Guessing you like the thickness and weight of the 4500V better? That was my hold up on the 2000V. I'm sure the gen in white gold is fine, but in steel it would just seem too light and dainty.

Honestly, I prefer the form factor of the 2000V. I think it wears really nicely and can easily slide under a sleeve. I'm selling it because I like the center seconds of the 4500V and I'm a sucker for a blue dial.
