jackpotI might actually buy this lol I have no problems with the 11 case, I like the 12 bezel, I like the 12 hour markers, I dislike the 12 sub rings. This is actually perfect for me, but I have funds tied up in other projects now.
The subdial is kinda too thick, can tell from quite far away...
Local market is vastly different to the rest of the world, which is what is catered to.There must be a market for these if they're willing to rush them out and charge $800. Who's buying them though?
Definitely. You can also buy a Starbucks with green dial and black bezel. For those who don't pay attention to details or don't care, the ZF 126500 will fit their bill
I do like the bezel quite a lot and think of buying it just for throwing it on a build lolThe subdial is kinda too thick, can tell from quite far away...

I think ZF should have adopted this strategy much earlier, by now they can release all new products before everyone else and update them later, but without success, by now Clean and Vsf have taken overLocal market is vastly different to the rest of the world, which is what is catered to.
Nah, just because they released it, doesn't mean there's a market for it yet. Behind the scenes, all the factories are waging war for sales. Rolex, of course, the biggest market, is the most lucrative, but, it's dominated by the top tier factories Clean and VS. For the Daytonas, BTF is dominating alongside Clean as well.
ZF learnt a really expensive lesson with their Submariners, they released it, and thought people would lap it up like the old Noobmariners, but they realized that most people (even locally) went with Clean and VS. For a while if you wanted the new 5712 you HAD to buy a ZF Sub together with it, because ZF was trying to offload stock.
So, they learnt their lesson, and they know if they want to dominate the Rolex market they MUST be first to release to capture sales.
Like a software product that goes into early release with sales, and improved on later. That's the model they're adopting.
