On a more serious note: My new avatar is a silent protest against the powers that be, who are ruining our world in the name of profit....they have to be stopped and made aware of the fact that there is a growing number of people out there who will try to do just that.

When my wife ( Melanie) and I were first dating, she invited me to meet a WHOLE group of her girl friends at lunch on her birthday.
A week or two later, I was out and one of her friends from the lunch stopped me to say hi, and she said " yer Mel's man, aren't you"

Homage to the late Ricky Bell. Been a huge Tampa Bay Bucs fan all my life. He was the first pro athlete I ever met, I guess I was about 7 or 8. He was coming off the practice field n I asked him for his autograph, he signed for me then asked me if I wanted to toss the football with him for a while. Thirty some odd years later I still consider it one of the coolest things I've ever done. He's been my favorite pro athlete ever since.

Cool story. One of my favorite players of all time and one of the greatest fullbacks ever is Mike Alstott.
