Use Shure 846's, and Audioquest Nighthawk over ears with a Chord Mojo DAC... perfection, and Ive owned nearly ALL the major headphones, the IEM Shures are best quality Ive ever heard, but can get uncomfortable for a movie etc, so the over ears are for that.!

I used to swear by Technics RPDJ1200s, they provide perfect clarity on all levels when out DJ ing at festivals and clubs etc, and they tak a proper beating, bouncing around in the back of a car, thrown in boxes of records etc, I have never had any conplaints, they have been my go to headphones for the last 20 years +

But I've just switched out to some Pioneers HDj 2000s.
I've only had them for a fee months, so I'm not sure how they will stack uo endurance wise, but sound quality is very good

Bowers and Wilkins p5. Phenomenal sound clarity, very comfortable. Best set I ever have owned.

At home I'm using the great Sony MDR 7506, which are very neutral and made for studio perpose, but I like the Idea of listing to music like the producer did ;)
And on the go I'm using Sony XBA 3 which are kind of prestige plugs but I bought them NOS for 70€ so I think that was a good deal ;)

I'm very happy with both and Sony is my all time favourite ;P

On the go I just use whatever I have my hands on, most of the time I'm at work so I use shit earbuds, they get destroyed anyways, but at home I use KNR KNS-8400's. flat response studio headphones, I'm a producer so;)

love the b&ws especially the build quality but could never get on board with on-ear phones. Did you try the p7s as well? How do they feel after a long wear?

The Bose Qietcomfort earbuds have been a longtime fav of mine for travel. Enough battery to get me from the Us to AUS and comfotable enough to wear for that many hours.

I use b&w P7 for serious listening with my headphone tube amp. For travel and general I use klipsch X11 or my shures. Klipsch is the best in ear buds I've found which is surprising.

B&w c5 in ears. Both series one and two. Had some p5 as well which sounded great when they were on your ears correctly but then kept moving and losing the sweet spot.

I had custom IEMs made last year and have never looked back - seriously recommend it for anyone who is as obsessive about sound as everyone on this forum is about watches! check out cosmicears.com if you are in the UK. I had my Westone W4Rs stripped and put into the custom shells, amazing, I can never go back to anything else now!
