I compared my gen datejust bracelet and find that rep bracelet is equally as good.

The polished and shiny portion of the bracelet is of equal tone.

Actually there is a small difference on the font used for the word Rolex on the dial as compared to Gen.

More obvious on the letters R & O

My first Rolex rep and i say its quite impressive to me.

Its humorous to me how people do zero research. The Rolex on dial is supposed to be different. Dont know where you bought your gen but if you ever look at other models, over the years the Rolex on the Dial has always been different. In a way its Rolex's security measure of variation. The newest rolex on the dial for this yachtmaster is pretty accurate, the r and o are spaced kinda wide with the O being more of a circle.

I wasn't comparing the Rolex fonts to my datejust of course. I was looking at the gen pictures in which i found the R & O letters were slightly different.

Noob version has the dial & blue seconds hand colour correctly matched.

Below is the gen.

Noob for Gray and Platinum dial

JF for blue dial. But the JF case is less accurate than the Noob. So if your keen on the ultimate blue dial you need to use Noob case with JF Dial.

Biggest tell as always is the Gens rounded edges on the 6 and 3 markers compared the the very square sides of the Rep markers. This has never been right but no-one will ever notice without a loope and the two watches next to each other . Overall the Noob is an amazing rep IMHO

^ Bezel and insert are fine on the Noob.

What's that is not matching with the gen?

Interesting question . In absolute terms nothing is matching with the gen. The case is made from 316F steel instead of 904L steel. Same goes for the bracelet and clasp. The dial has been made with something which resembles Rhodium, but isn't. The markers are steel instead of white gold. What matters more is what we can see that is not matching with the gen when viewd from the kind of distance we will encounter in practical use . Also how the watch feels when we wear it.
To me most of what I see at anything below the serious magnification provided by modern digital macro photography, and in fairness most of that which we see above, looks pretty much exactly like the gen.

the insert to bezel line up is different from noob to jf.

that is more easy tell (assuming this isn't just bad example they have for pics) than the color of second hand and dial, colors are harder to notice in person than mechanical differences as lighting changes colors, fitments and sizes do not.

Noob has really some nice Yachtmaster models out there. Question: do the SS models only differ in the color of of the dial (grey, blue etc.) and the second hand (blue, red etc.), or are there some other differences between the various SS models? In other words, does the latest model (grey dial with blue second hand) have any other changes and improvements?

I couldn't choose between this one and the JLC Master Compressor.
Just got my JLC and as amazing as it is, this is more my style.

I'll order this one as soon as I sold my C&R JLC. What are the things to look at with QC?

Can anyone review on the bezel clicking?

Saw a post in this thread regarding factory adding retaining ring , can we request this from our TDs?
