Don't get me wrong, I appreciate ur advice.. Jus asking for a few more advice before i make my purchase :)

I think the consensus is that this is the best Yachtmaster rep ever. I have a couple of Yachties (Gen) I was in an AD yesterday who has the Rhodium dial model in stock. I have looked closely and handled it I am friendly enough with the AD to go in with the rep and compare them side by side, which I will do. Look carefully at your QC pics and make sure you get a good one. But IMHO this is one of best buys in repdom right now.

Tats great, am totally mesmerized by this particular model with grey dial and blue hand

Now jus wondering is it worth to go with A3135 or A2836 movement.. The TD I'm enquiring with assures me that no issue with A3135 and it can last for a few years

i am personally convinced that the AS3135 is fine. The two I have run at around 300 with no beat error, better than COSC and the Keyless feels very solid. You should note though that others feel very differently about it.

As for me, I'm avoiding 3135 movements as per some members advice, seems that it has to be regularly serviced and in extreme cases has to be completely swapped, going with the asian movements and we'll see what happens in a few months/years

What are the key points to look at with QC of these? I love the rhodium, will be my next watch.

One a few months the other only a couple of weeks. I have a third on its way . They are running well i have had a look and they look clean. Of course i expect them to need a service and re-lube fairly soon. But thats no big deal. Both have great amplitude and run well. The main thing is that the Keyless feels great and that has always been the problem in the past

Regarding NOOB Grey one, some TD(Intime) has 2824 and some(Puretime) has 2836.
So NOOB is actually putting two different moves for different TD?

Which one is better between 2824 and 2836?
I think that those are almost same but 2836 is little upgraded version.

Well mine arrived today. Everything functions perfectly and feels solid and smooth.SELs perfect Clasp solid and tight, bezel super smooth and tight, keyless feels gen like , weight is perfect . I can honestly say it is by some margin the most gen like rep I have ever owned. Noob have done an amazing job with this watch. All I can say if you are pondering is buy it. IMHO it is a classic of the rep world, and a stunningly beautiful watch in absolute terms.

The 2824-2 is date only, the 2836-2 has day and date (but is also often used in watches with just date).
From the technical point of view they are nearly identical (dials and hands are interchangeable). Both are equal in terms of quality.

Hello timnic54, congratulations to this beauty. Do you know if the quality of this grey dial version is even better than the Noob SS watches with white or silver or blue dial?

Timnic, congratulations for this beauty. Do you know it the quality of your grey dial version is the same or better than the quality of the Noob white, silver or blue dial versions?
