Out of curiosity, perhaps not, but do you think its possible to fit the panerai buckle/end clasp, that would've come with the rep strap, to this gorgeous 'OurTreasuredChest' 26mm strap?

Not that panerai would make such a strap, but just a thought.

The buckle for the PAM127 is 26mm, so if the strap is 26/26mm, then the buckle should fit just fine.

Not Bad, CG lever is flimsy and there is a Gap between lever and CG body. UP part of the case above the lugs is not brushed but sandblasted. Lugs are too pointy at the tips.
Saphire front and back. Lume is nice. Sead is a Great Guy to deal with.
I will replace CG as soon as thé 2nd batch will improve this point..
O'rings are nice quality and a correct size o'ring is in the crown and pressure on the crown is correct. Movement finish is very Nice, engraved no stickers on bridges. Runs nice for now.

other than that its nice

Thanks for the detailed description and photo. Can you add visualizations of the sandblasted parts instead of the satin parts you wrote about, if this is not difficult?

Perfectly rendered, Nottingham . Ridiculous, but fixable.
In general, satin and polish over lugs often looked problematic on many pams, including old gens, but I have not seen this art of a way to ignore this problem from the factory before.
I wonder if all XF127 / 217s have this?

As I said, in any case, it looks fixable.
Congratulations on your new watch!

"UP part of the case above the lugs is not brushed but sandblasted."

Seriously? Hmm.... Isn't that a very obvious flaw?

Although I'm about to fall for this overall very nice 127 by XF, it still a bit of a pity that the case finish is not correct (knowing factories know how to properly work cases, lazyness is it?).

How would it be fixable?

Well, not that the whole finish of the case, just small sections from lugs to the edge. I tried to adjust the finish, and something worked out for me, which partially satisfied me, but this is clearly not the skill level required to give advice. At the same time, as far as I remember, you have a good friend who made CG for 088, I am sure that this situation with 127 is not a problem for him. I think that if you are ready to spend a little time and effort, to put up with something, then it will definitely suit you.

Yeah, I've never polished/brushed watches myself but definitely into learning it, I'll think about this when the 127 will land.

At the same time, I wonder if this will be on your watch. Maybe this is not a massive problem .... Anyway, I would hope so.

I noticed this on mine too.

Very surprising, as it seems they started out with a beadblasted case and then brushed it, and overlooked brushing the midcase area above the lugs.
