100% agree. I remember I used to wear smelly china dog / cat leather straps. No thanks.

Just picked mine up from Sead’s UK stock, very impressed. I’ve owned noob, V6F and a highly modded noob. Out the box I’d say this is on par with the noob, if not a little better.

If you give us the opportunity to see XF127 versus noob, I think many will be very grateful to you.

Unfortunately I passed all of the models on at one time or another.

Was really regretting it for over a year until they XF came out!

Understood thanks! Glad that you were able to find what you wanted again.
He also had a pair of 127 at different times, and also sold, often regretting it. This model seems to be a common scenario.

Hopefully someone who has a pair of XFs and Noob will do it for us.

just approved QC pics for my 127, I wanted a PAM685 but sadly it's discontinued and not available. any strap suggestions for the 127 without breaking the bank? I like the thick brown leather look, like the stock strap of the PAM685.

The stock strap of the PAM685 is an assolutamente which isn't thick at all. There are similar looking straps from Bob's watch straps and Panatime I think. If you really want thick leather straps, check out ebay. I forgot the seller's name, something like antique_leather or similar. Sells 3-4mm thick straps for around $50.

Dunno about the thickness, but this is Horween leather in the USA, I just might get one myself. Only note is that the buckle they state is 22mm, not the 24mm that comes with the rep.

LOL that is a nice strap and design which I give myself the credit for when I asked Andrea (Martu) to replicate for me a "74" style strap 2 years ago!
She liked it so much she made it a regular in her offerings!

I am not referring to the ASSO strap, and I am pretty sure that the PAM685/687 ( gen&rep) weren't equipped with the ASSO strap, but with a thick leather strap, see this GEN 685 video:
