I noticed this on mine too.

Very surprising, as it seems they started out with a beadblasted case and then brushed it, and overlooked brushing the midcase area above the lugs.

So it is not only on my one. Thanks for the info

Don't think it's a deal breaker for me, but thank you for the info.

When I order, I'll be sure to look out for it in the QC pics, but think its easily fixable & at the risk of getting slammed, not overly noticable.

Ok I never thought I would but I felt for the 127, and just got one of these XFs on M2M this week.

1rst, talking about the Fiddy in general, I must admit I like more than I thought that "new old school" design, although not being a fan of old timers with domed crystals and all at first. The 47mm sits comfortably on the wrist, and looks great on mid-size wrists like mine (the 46mm Navitimer World looked like a kitchen plate on me for instance).

Talking about this XF, it's very well built and overall this looks like a nice iteration of the 127. I don't like the rep strap so an OEM one is in place as we speak (rep one on the pictures).
To me the down points so far are the gap between lever and CG's body, and the lugs being too sharp/pointy for my taste.

Thanks. It's from Sead UK stock. Strap was separate. Handmade strap, Esty UK seller, "OurTreasuredChest" - 65 quid.

Just bought one via M2M & am gonna order the exact same strap as you right now.

Had to go digging through the thread to find the post, but wanted to say thanks again for the recommendation.

Cant wait to have it on the wrist.

Was always looking for something to leave my 372 gen in the box. Got my 127 XF on the weekend and must say it is a pretty nice thing. Except that I need to get used to the non vintage lume

That lume looks amazing, well wear!

May be partly due to the camera angle, but it really doesnt look as big as the specs/dimensions make it out to be, unless you have ginormous wrists, seems to fit perfect

If i compare the lume colour between 127 and 000, the 127 seems greener in daylight. And if I compare with the memories of my gen 112, too Can anybody tell me if that is gen like?
