Thanks! I read on the ZF thread that the ZF bracelet is so much better. I'm really curious to try the feel of the XF bracelet on the wrist, before thinking about replacing it

IMO,,, I repeat,, IMO , aparts from hour hand, ZF win over XF easily.
XF thicker than ZF, the bracelet and finishing steel quality is much better on ZF.
I prefer ZF dial blue color, for DW, both are equal IMO.

Is the zf actually thinner than the xf? The zf looks like it's built a little better but I perfer the xf dial color

I fully agree with your analysis, at least from these pictures. But I'm sure that having both of them in your hands, for you it's very easy to spot the difference in quality / color / thickness, so thank you for your input.

I was excited when the ZF model came out, but for me OOTB the base hand of the ZF was a bummer, so big that it was a straight no. I can personally live with a few issues in a replica, but this one is too much for me to deal with.

That's the only reason why I went for a XF (praying for white lume....).

These considerations are OOTB. In case of modding, no doubts that the ZF is the way to go. The work done by Legend on ZF is a clear proof!

I own the XF V2 since two weeks (bought from Sead). Still lume on markers is different from the slightly more white lume on the hands - BUT: it's barely noticable, even in sunlight. So this is NOT an issue on my watch (beside the mvmt is in perfect condition, with silence rotor and no need for a revision). The issue is the moving end links, which make for the well discussed gap. Has anyone tried the ZF bracelet on the XF? Or the JF bracelet on the XF? The gen's end links don't move that much. If the other high end bracelets fit, the XF would be close to perfect. Anyone?

+1. I own both as well. I also like the ZF dial color and bracelet quality over XF. The ZF “pizza” hand base is not that pronounced at wrist distance unless you hold it at specific angles. The ideal would be ZF with XF hands (might do this in future).

There isn't.

You basically advance the hands until the date flips. Then you turn the hands back to 8 o'clock and then forward again till it flips. Do this until you reach the correct date.
This is one reason I never considered the gen 15202 for myself. The movement is outdated in terms of functionality, the watch is relatively delicate and its a piece for collection rather than daily functionality IMHO.

Can wear it right away since the bracelet is too long and my tools dont fit. I just ordered a new screwdriver.

Here are some photos. I am absolutly astounded. Of course I also see some flaws but with the naked eye they are not noticeable unless you know it.

Everyone here is a noob at one time. Flaws? Yes of course, but they don't stop the watch from being a beauty in real life. All reps are novelty watches as opposed being actual luxury brand watches but they sure look expensive and luxurious in real life and that is the entire purpose of reps!
