you ll find such movement with old style rotor for less than 3 grands on ch24.
so I guess you ll need at least 4k to achieve the complete watch...
Thanks! I am new to this forum and didn't know there is ch24.

Have you ever seen a gen? They do have a gap where case and bracelet meets, in order to let it move a bit..
I have had plenty of gens in my hand. Friends of mine are watch collector. I had the chance to compare my xf 15202 v2 to a gen 15202st and a gen 15202 (rosegold). Both gen 15202 had very, very very, small gaps.I truly believe that AP wants more stiffness at the first links where case and bracelet meet.

Have you read what several collectors and / or connoisseurs have said regarding the gaps? You can rest assured, you're able to believe that. I can attest to it as well. 15202 do differ in terms of size and amount of presence of said gap. Some have more of a gap, some less.
Funny, so the post 2012 gens I've seen and held in my hands personally that had exactly this same, what you call, gap or the flexible end link just like some XFs or at times even more than some XFs must have all been XF's as well just that they were sold as gens. Oh wait. The gap and "movement amplitude of the sel" of the xf is a "copy" of the 5402 or older generation 15202, the last generation of 15202, from post 2012 have no such flexible links. This is what makes the visual difference, not the gap size.We in fact showed some pictures several times in this thread to try to explain this difference...
