Luckily, it looks like there is at least one member each that has purchased a Noob and XF. We should be seeing more in person pics soon.

From QC pics so far tho, we can already see some distinct differences between the two version. These were what I was pointing out (and comparing to gen).

Regarding Noob, I am more concerned about the quality of springs and overall finish at this point. In terms of accuracy to gen, it looks like they did a great job.

Which part of the CG is too low? My human eyes can't seem identify it?

I've tried looking at my Q series XF PAM000 and can't seem to see any difference. To my eyes at least, it's about as close to the gen

The entire CG is sitting a tad bit lower on the case compared to gen. It is very minor but it does have an optical impact when you're looking at the watch straight on from the front too. If the top of the CG is sitting higher and more flush to the case, then the CG will look slightly bigger. If the CG is sitting lower, it will look slightly smaller. I know this because my 114O CG is sitting lower than my 005M.

I went to Trusty's website and looked at the video of XF 000. It does indeed look like a good rep. CG does seem to sit higher up. Even the lume color looks more correct on 000 as compared to their 005 offering. In the video though, I noticed the lume color on the hands is slightly more green than on the numbers. I am not sure if this is actually the case in real life. Maybe blim can confirm this.

Yes, sukwonee when this model was popular, it was the only major gripe: the difference in the brightness of the hands and numbers.
Otherwise, as always, there were small, but not critical drawbacks in the case, and the dial, which at that time was better than the noob, but lagged behind hf.

If you have minimal experience with the watch, it is not very difficult to fix this. It looks like you just need to put a little pressure on your minute hand.

And maybe, when and if you have the opportunity, you will give a photo from 6 sides at right angles? There are already ready to give a photo of the noob when he arrives and it will be fashionable to finally put these 2 models. This seems to be a question of interest to many.

Oh man... That's terrible....so there is no more good Noob 005 available?? I wasn't referring to the noob 005 that is now on discount. That version has incorrect "A" font. Which is probably why it's being discounted.

The specific noob 005 I was referring to that looks promising is from this thread linked below. This is not the same version as the one being discounted.

That recessed CP is not too hard to fix. I obviously can't do this myself but any modders can do this very easily.

Will you be able to take a Pic of the dial straight on in natural room lighting? I am wondering the color of the lume when in normal condition.
