and the other point: what should i mod on this watch, to had the "best" ap diver rep? AR? Lume? Waterproofing?

can you help me? and is it worth to buy a modded v3.5 or v.4?

Hey man

I think from the sound of it u seem like a perfectionist
And the fact is for a perfectionist there is only the option of going gen bc all current versions have flaws (just with bezel mainly).

However the forged carbon v3 looks promising.

I find it myself as perfectionist,
but depends on ur view tho, without perfectionist there will be no
improvement over something to get better and better.

i would say all member here is perfectionist eventho they can handle flaws,
without such demand, there will be no v2 v3 v3.5 v4 v4.1 v.5
without "perfectionist" side, we just stuck at v1.

till today i guess there is no clear statement that said 4.1 is better than v5 or vice versa.
Its all people opinion, and also which one has correct inner bezel size, lume or width is still not an exact as gen, since Gen itself got various flaw.
however, just the day before yesterday i become more prefer to v5 than 4.1.


Its a very tough decision,
and since noob fac is the one who improve the diver
i hope they will update new diver to fight this competitor v5.

Gotta say I haven't seem much improvement since v3.5. Also, people vastly overstate the sunken-ness of gen screws.

V4.1 vs v5 comes down to the thick numerals and square zero centers vs AR on the 4.1. My preference is perfect AR since it's what makes a watch pop so I like 4.1, but many others disagree and would prefer the v5. Even with v5, if you're looking that closely you'll notice other differences, so might as well go with better AR.

Also could think of it in terms of "what is easily modded?"

We have modders on the forum who can give you an AR faaar better than anything out of the box! So a V5 may have more potential!

Ryan couldn't get me one with a decent date wheel so held off, maker updated the date wheel so ordered again and now I'm just waiting for it to be shipped along with another RBII

Here's the pic

Not sure on the Rg yet, I'll see how I get on with the Ss 1st, saving my cash for the FC diver and hoping the updates are going to be good!
