Hi,
My wrist size is about 6.75" but I'm sure it will be fine on your wrist as RM watches fit like a glove due to the shaping around your wrist. He are some more wrist shots:

Awesome thanks for the Pics looks awesome on you.
I have an idea to make it thinner. Not sure if it is do able or not. Thinking if a eta 2892 movement can be fitted. It's about 2mm thinner than the MIYOTA8215. The the mid case can be thinned another 2mm making it only 1.5 mm thicker than the gen.

If you removed the rotor, I am sure it could be made thinner, in fact, I am surprised the factories haven't tried this as the gen is a hand wind anyway! Good luck.

If I had a pound for every time I saw someone suggest this type of mod on an RM I'd be able to afford a gen, lol!

For a start the 2892 would be too large in diameter so it would be clearly visible behind the decorated plates, unlike the Miyota which is super small. Also if you made the midncase thinner it would throw out all the dimensions of the bezel and caseback, not to mention the strap, since the midcase is only straight on the vertical plain, butnin every other direction it is angled. If you removed material from the bottom the caseback would need to be larger, if you removed it from the top the bezel would need to be smaller, and if you took it out the middle then stuck the two back halves together there would be a step in the lugs where the strap goes in!!

For my thinking this latest RM055 looks nice and flat on the wrist. Might not be 13.5mm like the gen but these RMs wear beautifully on smaller wrists!

Yeah I agree with what you said. That's why I said not sure if it's doable or not.
But I thought the 2892 is 25.6mm in diameter (https://www.eta.ch/en/our-products/...specialities/eta-mecaline-specialities-2892a2) and the Miyota 8215 is 26mm in diameter (http://calibercorner.com/miyota-caliber-8215/).
That's why I thought that perhaps with some clever machineing by a experienced moddered a thinner midcase can be achived.

I do agree with you that the new KVF RM55 looks really good as is.

But as you know in this hobby we are always pushing the limits and challenging the status quo to how much closer we can get to a gen without breaking the bank. Thus the curious mind.

Yes, that is the one! It is a great rep,it may not be perfect, but when was the last time someone saw an original to compare it to. Let us know what you think if you decide to get one

How do you find the quality? Does it feel more expensive than it is? I like the feeling of something being higher quality than what you pay for it, like you get a lot of bang for your money, I've had this from not all but some of my the rep purchases that I have made and those have been my favorites.

You're way behind, this KVF has been out for a while, I've done a full review in this section! This is just the ceramic version!!

It's not the long awaited V6F version!

Oh but i tought that it was the good version, so the long awaited is still not out ?
I’m kinda lost, because i was thinking that KVF was the right maker, so the gen movement dissasembled is not this one ?
