What's the theory on the Cerakote for the numerals and markers? Base colour airbrushed on and then numerals stenciled over the top?

The quality of CAC inserts are insane…contrary to reports they do in fact accept PayPal which results in a lower price…top chap and top service

I think the CAC smokey fade is really cool looking, but it just looks very fake to me. Wanted to attempt something I thought would look more realistic.
I've been researching to start my own 1675 or possibly a 6542 build.
Well they actually have to communicate with you to buy outside of eBay, they don't have the best track record with that!

I’ve debated in the past whether to get in touch but it doesn’t sound like you get past the ‘could I purchase an insert’ part of the conversation.. joy..
I have only bought from them on eBay, you have to wait until the insert you want comes up. They never gave me access to their IG page.
To add, their business model makes me think they either have a few screws loose, it is a hobby and they don't care if they make money, or their markup is so high they don't care if they lose sales. Whatever is going on it confuses me, what business owner doesn't want to make sales. JUST SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

I think the guy is probably under a lot of stress maybe for personal reasons or maybe he receive a lot of messages accusing him of doing fake from the rolex genuine community.

You buy it or you leave it ,don t get me wrong but he is doing business and not holding a coffee shop to enlarge his friend circle
ask yourself what you would reply to someone taking a microscope to evaluate your job and willing to exchange with passion on his findings :-( , keep in mind this his his way to make money and probably not his passion like many here...
Funny you mention true dome because he supports CAC as he was selling recently a milsub with "custom made hands and CAC insert" Its only cool when he does it thought.
I agree with what you are saying, but the one time I contacted him about a gmt insert, I asked if he has pictures of what he may have in stock to buy and he just blocked me.
It's funny because I've only had good experiences with him personally, but I always get the sense that if I say even one wrong thing he'll block me.
Just crazy that he has an absolute monopoly on the market- I've spent weeks looking for a reasonably priced aftermarket 16710 Pepsi insert and there isn't a single seller who has the curved 2's right besides CAC.
I've mocked up some designs in CAD for GMT inserts with the correct fonts and was debating trying to find a supplier who could make them perhaps at a lower price point but frankly with the tariffs that's turned into a pipe dream
