Saw this tour in Newcastle UK

They are just not the same without Jello. I went to a very small Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine gig over 10 years ago. It was electric. Definitely my favourite gig ever. Thankfully the camera does not have my ugly mug on it. My wife had her nose and cheek bruised pretty badly and she even thought it was the best gig ever and she is not into punk.

This venue held less than 100 people back then.

I do agree, Jello brought the anarchic rawness to the stage which is the basis of punk!
As a very close friend of mine often said before his untimely death… “Punk is a feeling not a fashion”
But fast forward from the late 70’s to the present day… the gig was fantastic and Skip definitely nailed it, best gig I’ve been to in a lot of years.
