Wow I did not know this genius was that well known outside Ireland.

He has a little but fierce group of supporters. They organize every year a tribute night in Bergamo, called Rory Nights. His last concert in Italy, 1994, was broadcasted by a local tv . His health was not good, but he still played with an incredible passion.

That is a great piece of music history to know. I was listening to him since I can't remember. For me he was one of the all time great blues guitarists.
