I will have to correct a couple things I said in my previous post(s). I had a bit of free time at work after hours so I wanted to confirm whether or not the bezel and ring are separate or not.
First of all the bezel and dial ring are in fact two pieces, however in AP the ring usually sits on the dial/case, and the bezel sits on top of it. In the XF v2 the bezel sits on the case, and the ring sits inside the bezel under the crystal.
If you attempt to do this mod you will need a new crystal gasket. 295 diameter 0.8 high, 0.35 thick. The gasket prevented the ring from coming out so I had to force it out. Normally gaskets stay fine but this one deformed on me.
I shaved the bezel in 3 places. The place where the ring sits, the bottom of the bezel, and the first step of the bottom of the bezel. I think the crystal sits directly on top of the ring so setting it lower also allowed the crystal to go a bit lower. I may do a second attempt but I'm satisfied for now. Though I still have to shave the bezel gasket somehow.
Secondly, the holes of the bracelet and case are ~1.2 (1.18?) diameter, not 1.0 as I stated, and the pin it originally comes with is ~1mm (0.97) thick. Either way it adds up to about 0.4mm of play so replacing the pin will make the bracelet somewhat less loose than it comes originally. I could not fit a 1.2 pin in the hole I probably have to shave a few microns off so I stuck a 1.1 in it for now.
I will be doing more work on this project in the future as time permits and I'll keep posting updates. My goal is to make this as close to 1:1 in size as possible. Before anyone asks I don't do mods. I work full-time as a watchmaker and my shop is super busy, plus it's xmas season, but I'll do my best to answer any questions to assist anyone who'd like to mod their own watch in the same manner.
Edit: Possible future mod? If anyone knows who could get this done for me I'd appreciate it.

I can probably cut it myself but I know nothing of engraving. Thinking of maybe laser engraving first but the guy I use misses sometimes.
