What AP Franken(s) do you have in the works?!

That was intended for tosoboso , but if you know where I can find gen ROOC hour and minute hands please let me know

This arrived - will do a proper build right up later but wanted to share here first.

44mm franken Panda.

Gen dial, gen hands, gen 3126 AP movement (50 hour power reserve!), gen cyclops and gen datewheel.

-I may just mill the case to 14.1mm and not change the crownd since I have no idea how to do it

That I can not say for sure. Maybe something, maybe nothing at all. I have personal history with one of them as I said.

Gentlemen, based on my experience with that seller, if you have no previous history with them, they can throw in free shipping I can do that too any day for $2k +

As slaughterer62 has kindly pointed out these are way overpriced. Yet, they are still (relatively) rare bits and pieces so if anyone is willing and able to pay up it’d probably be as good a find as it gets these days

I like the idea and agree about the difference gen hands make but imagine it would be damn complicated with the lume!

I still haven't found someone that is willing to even polish some minor scratches out of some gold rolex hands I have because of how fragile they are.

Any hand, once polished, will need replating. The act of polishing a watch hand is extremely complicated.

It does not matter what I think, it matters what the owner thinks. For me there is a noticeable difference in quality. But the largest cost for the build is the dial, and they can be rather expensive.

Only if the dates looked better, especially between 2 - 9.

Yet another 15400 Franken:

The owner should consider WG plating those hands. They look a little dull at present. Polished/plated hands will take the build to a new level.

Is that a reflection or is the 9oclock marker dirty? Maybe smudges?

Thanks for pointing out reflections as faults. The markers and hands are reflecting a vase with a bouquet my wife got from her family for her birthday. The watch was photographed between the lamp on the right and the vase on the left.
