Well, you can ask Kat or Vac...I can't guarantee that they will want to work with you, but you can ask. What watch are you looking to give away? The 029 PAM?

Or anyone want my watch for free? and if you think it is worth something, you can give me an early Christmas gift? at least it is a very nice build. [this is not a sale ad by any means]
Hey man you can donate it to the forum so when they make another raffle ypur watch Will be one of them. One more to make it even more desirable. That way you can give back what you took from the forum. Some kind of redemption. That would be ok.
Just a thought

@Raddave I just wonder if I can ever get out of the brig. It is really boring just to see the brig when I log into the forum :( . I want to buy some more watches and especially check what BK has to offer.
I just went to have an estimate to fix the Panerai watch. Luckily (maybe not), I found one small store in a big mall named "fast fix jewelry and watch repair" that actually agreed to take a look. They quoted me $395 and 2 weeks to fix the watch. They said the watch needs an overhaul ?!? well, all other stores refuse to fix replica :( --> real story!
I think I must be crazy to spend that money to fix when the new one from BK costs the same. Anyone know a CONUS rep-friendly watchsmith that won't charge an astronomical amount of money? Can someone help me out? please no Strodda Thanks.

wow dude , you know i was actually considering giving you the bounce , until i got a PM from netsub stating that you sent him a watch using Heisenbergs address ....

EDIT : broken/dummy watch i should add

@netsub , would you care to post the PM ?

Well
Here is the PM:

Hi there,

Today i've received a PAM watch which i haven't ordered. It's a bit complicated so i'll start from the beginning

I've ordered a PAM 672 Firenze 3 Days P3000 Asia 6497 Mod with engravings from Trusty Time (Before removed recently from the TD list).

The watch which i'Ve received today came without the front glass, missing screws and a hole in the bracelet. I can send pictures via email if you want.

It arrived from a person with the following details:

XXXX XXXXXXX
XXXXX E. XXXXX ave
XXXXX, AZ 00000

Could it have any connection to the cancelled \ refunded transaction with "sgthuan"?

So, i'm kind of clueless here... Maybe you can help me find out who & why sent me that watch as i deal only with either TD's or members from the forum.

Thanks in advance!

But, as i investigated together with Haisenberg, i got a confirmation email from "Sgthuan" stating that indeed he sent me a dummy watch (PAM 425 and not the 029 he was bitching about the entire time).

Leading to the only possible conclusion that he was planning on SCAMMING the whole time !

Before, it was obvious that was a scam to either:

1. Sell a 029 that a known issue that was not disclosed in the sales listing from netsub bought the watch. Buyer would receive a faulty watch.

2. Scam Strodda for the $53 work done to fix a train gear that became problematic a few weeks after he used the watch in working condition.

Now it seems he wanted to in fact keep the 029, and tried to pull a 'bait and switch' by sending a completely different, broken watch instead of the 029, forging my real name and mailing address info on the package. I've never seen this broken 425 before, it was never mine so I assume sgthuan bought and broke it. If that 425 is any sign of how sgthuan treats watches, that might explain why he had to send the 029 to Strodda in the first place.

Now I question whether the 029 is indeed faulty, based on the antics employed here and knowing first hand how unlikely it is (based on both personal experience and forum reputation) that Strodda would return a piece he fixed, in non-working order.

Also sgthuan posted that Kat would fix the watch for $80... so why ask about other forum watchsmiths and state that a mall battery kiosk wanted $395 for the work ? Keyless reset by a qualified watchsmith is a sub-$100 job, it most definitely does not require a full overhaul... I have done it myself numerous times in under an hour, and I am no watchsmith!

And if the keyless was indeed buggered, Strodda would have reset it for free if sgthuan had sent it back like he told me he did, rather than listing it for sale here at RWI.

I'm curious what Sgthuan would have said and done, had the mods not been alerted to this at the time payment was made ? I am certain netsub would have realized the junk he received was not the nice 029A he paid for, and filed a complaint (appropriately) with the mods here.

I assume he was going to somehow blame it on me, since he intentionally used my personal info on the mailing label - leaving no obvious sign of his real name and location (which is falsely listed as AZ is his RWI profile - he is in fact in Northern Virginia). Putting a broken 425 in the package was not an accident.

Anyway, I'm glad this got handled as it did. Netsub gets a free watch - and I'll try to help him out getting it fixed up so he can use it or sell it for some $ to make up for his trouble. I want to point out that this member from Israel has been extremely nice to deal with in sorting this mess out, and I appreciate him reaching out to me about the bogus mailing.

I'm a bit confused...so when did the inmate mail this out? Before the brigging, or after as a F**k you? This is too much. The guy is so worried about is professional reputation but he pulls this again? And here I thought he was trying to make amends above and I was going to +1 the donation suggestion.

:huh?:

I absolutely despise the fact that these great forums are built on trust and people's hard earned time, knowledge and experience, to then get people trying to absolutely abuse the whole system, just shows how much we need mods...

Yeah this $hit stain deserves to have his info revealed for all to see. I really do worry what he does with Pharmacy customers he thinks screwed him over. Reminds me of those doctors that water down Chemo treatments to make more money. Seems like this guy is like that.
