Sent Pat a watch fora Gen dial swap years ago. Turn around was super quick and work was done right. Should have quit while he was ahead if he couldn’t handle the avalanche of projects or workload.

Honestly, should have just opened a brick and mortar store and worked solely on gens. Watchmaking is a disappearing profession. Sticking to crappy quality replica parts was asking to fail. I'm sure the second his time was pulled away from his work the backlog was never going to be caught up on. Being flooded with watches in the mail is so shady and the simplest projects can take months because everything isn’t always plug and play. Hope he can handle his personal life as well as professional life better in the future.

Either do this full time on gens or as a hobby is my advice.

Brick and mortar is not as profitable. It's more upkeep and you have to actually speak to customers. Oascom has built his business to be as efficient as possible at making money, not quality.

Admittedly, many bridges have been burned for me at RWI, much of it due to my own actions.

There are people who have waiting for months, almost years at this point but you have the time to set up a forum, invite people to it but no time to email the people who are waiting?

Best case, you get called out by trailboss like he just did. This exposes you are more shady.

Worst case, RWI does what has happened to previous brigged members and releases the information RWI and other members have about you and start contacting your employer. This again has the potential to cause issues for you in the real world.

In German-slang there is the word
"Oasch",
which comes from "Arsch" and means "ass" and is used for everything from uncool and not OK to bad and disgusting.
For example the weather could be really "oasch" or someone's behaviour could be just "oasch".
