Finally someone who knows how much it costs Rolex to make a watch... Some people in this forum think they're made of $1million diamonds and consider themselves experts lmao.
Happy to see that some actually know better than the rest, but don't get caught by the warriors they will melt your brain.
It’s not the first time the maker goes one step forward and two steps back?
The workers making the cases are different for different versions and maybe they are made in different factories. They just can’t make them consistent my friend, the cases came and they don’t know what’s wrong and they released them.
When the stocks are selling fast and they don’t even have time to check their cases. Sometimes they found flaws but they have to sell them as they were because if they don’t and people will buy from other makers which is in stock.
Usually the first batch or the second batch of a watch is the best.

Looks epic! Don‘t understand all the hate. Yes the dial might not be perfect yet, but it‘s not the final release and otherwise it‘s an easy swap to a cf dial. Oh and the cyclops looks extremely promising (finally). Thanks a lot Angus for your effort and keeping us up to date

According to you lot the cost to Rolex of making a watch has been $800 for the last 10 years. The current cost is more like 1200 and that doesn't take into account capital expenditure for all that fancy equipment or R&D so it's not a true cost. Yes Rolex are expensive for what they are are and should be half of what they charge but that's not their business model.
Hell, a 20oz flavored milk costs 10% of full retail to make as do most things.
