Now this is a Blueberry worth spending money for! It will also work if you decide to put it on a jubilee band. Congrats on a great build! Should you decide to part with it, I'll be waiting (lol)

Thank you very much. I actually have a jubilee coming today. It was going to go on my datejust but now you have thinking it should go on the gmt. Haha. You'll be the first to know if I plan on parting with it! Thanks again. It means a lot buddy!

580s were the right ones on the genuine piece.

Good stuff

They seem to fit right! From all my research that seemed like the right choice! Super happy with how it turned on. Thanks man!

JL, just curious: after all of the work you have done to this piece, are you able to tell if it can take gen pieces: e.g. insert, crown, crystal?

R2L, Well it fits gen spec pieces for the most part. The clark crystal is gen spec and it pressed right on and stays put with no clearance issues at all. Ive had 3 inserts on it, all have been 1675 from wso, all different batches im assuming because 2 snapped in perfect and one wasnt even close to fitting. It must have been made about 3mm smaller in o.d. than the other two. It also fit the gen spec endlinks with no issues at all and the fitment on them is perfect. The only gen spec part i had to fit was the spring bars because the holes were to small to fit the 1.2mm tips of the bars. I havent tried many true gen pieces because i just dont want to pour a ton of money into this thing yet. Im sure ill get there soon, haha.

In that case this can be the base for a very classy looking franken for you or the next owner (hint, hint). With the handstack not being an issue, these can look like gen very easily.

Congrats once again for creating another amazing piece!

Ahhh! The classic modders dilemma: unlimited ideas vs limited funds vs finite time frame.

All the very best, my friend, as you continue on this journey to frustrating pseudo-perfection. I will be on the sidelines watching and marveling.

And here it is with the jubilee! I like it much better now than with the normal oyster bracelet. The bracelet came from esslinger and I put a rolex branded clasp on it! The end links fit the bars perfect and I think it completes the blueberry!

Man that combo looks good! The small inner links of the bracelet tie in with the bezel teeth and both parts look like they were made for each other. Congrats on an even better looking piece!

Thanks buddy! The bracelet is one of the nicest jubilees I've had. It wasn't to pricey either! Great quality for $28! Add the clasp and bam! Lol

Incredible deal on the jubilee!

You may also want to keep your eyes open for a vintage style clasp where the crown is forward on the front edge of the clasp. It will make it even more period correct for the vintage look you are aiming for.

Beautiful watch!
