Update: New home and new bands

Just wanted to share with you all what Johnny's masterpiece looks like today, and what has been added to it since the last posting. Hope you like what follows:

A wristy on a newer Jubilee but with the wrong end links. This one has 455, but the watch needs 555 "fat" links to accommodate the 2mm spring bars.

Now a couple on a tan dyed JDL001 Custom Leather band that Johnny made by hand: a master craftsman as you can clearly see:

And now with its siblings:
A TC V6 "Shark," and a Noob ND Sub-C "Shark"

Question about the plexi. I have the same watch and need to get the Clark you used. Do you think it's possible to shave down the bottom rim of the crystal so that it sits lower like the gen?

Yeah! I've done it on other watches before. It's just plastic. So you can use a sanding block or sandpaper on a flat surface and shave it down. Just make sure not to get any of the abrasive in the inside of the plexi or it'll scratch when you wipe it off!

Cool! I'm going to give it a try. Is the stock plexi glued in or was it just friction fit?

it's glued in pretty hard. It'll probably crack when you remove it. It's a tight fit.

Great build and info here. Thanks!
I just swapped my crystal too with the same one he used here. Direct swap and I just used a little hypo cement to hold it in. It's a must because the stock one has a bad cyclops.

I agree. I too plan on replacing the crystal. Might even try a little bit of aging...;)
