Fresh out of the box photos. I just received it. It looks and feels fantastic! Although I agree with many of you guys that the hands are a bit wide and can be improved. However, for a first glance, it looks okay, not too bad. But when the minute hand hits the magnification under the date window, it seems very board. For me, I would change it, also change the crystal. The date wheel seems okay, not too bold for me, and I can live with that.

Finally got the right QC from puretime and it looks solid to me. Only question i have is that if the hands get swapped out for gen, will the color of the white lume be off compared to the dial?

I’d say you wouldn’t see a difference.

meh. Only way to get everything is buy gen. For the money, it’s an amazing piece. V2 will have to address the rehaut and DW issue

I’d transplant the zzf dial, hands, dw, into the vsf case.

And this is why I avoided subs for a while.

arf hands are still the best by a long way.but the vsf case is top notch and cant be beaten by any of the new watches I've seen .the vsf dial is amazing mine is flawless and so is the insert.it has the best pearl in the game,

The bezel assembly and action and sound is impeccable never have I felt a rep bezel that feels identical to gen to turn
I shut my eyes and turned both bezels lol on the gen and rep .the teeth looks really good like a 2017 /20 gen

looking at the platinum deposit in the insert under a loupe blows away the zzf v2 platinum because under a loupe the zzf or noob platinum or arf has vertical lines going through each number I think that's the way the insert was finished before they deposited the platinum.the vsf is smooth as silk under macro

the cg and lugs are amazing and I've got a little comparison that shows the gen and the rep both have identical curve and taper

the sel is also best in class recessed perfectly on my example.but I've not seen the new zzf v3 yet with it's new arf bracelet.but going by the pics the vsf case shits on the zzf because of the cg.but I have a feeling the zzf rehaut will look better than the vsf.im gonna hold back my vsf full.review until they release the hulk I think.but what I can say is the vsf is fucking sick lol and it's only v1.and before the bs starts no I don't works for vsf or any Td I paid full wak for my vsf from trusty andrew.ill post up some pics I took to highlight why the vsf case and sel is so good

I’ve noticed more of the angled edge is visible above the bezel on my VSF, whereas it seemed flush on my ZZF. I have to say I actually prefer seeing a little bit of the edge of the xtal as it looks more premium some how?? But do you know which is closer to gen? Thx

The edge on the gen xtal is square this you cant see the minute tick reflection in the xtal edge and a gap between the rehaut shelf and the ceramic insert

The new 126610 subs have the rounded xtal edge and display the same traits as the vsf and other reps.

Here's some updates from factory.

They said that the hulk submariner is in schedule to be released in 2-3 weeks time if there are no issues or delays.

No news on the blue sub yet though.
