That’s a good watch. It looks like it’s leaning back in the pic, giving the impression of non centred date. Even so it’s not that off in the pic. The amount of times a date looks a hair off in qc and it was just the angle of the pic.

Thank you for your attention ... It's very nice! I know the case, or the band, is not very important to me, but a date not centered like here on a gen would drive me crazy ... I keep that to myself and next time just speak for information. Personally, I have never seen a real Rolex with a flaw, but I was thinking wrong apparently ... let's stay there, the other comments don't affect me, I prefer to fly them over my head

Many have flaws. My very first genuine Submariner (non date) was bought new from an AD (back in 2003), I found a little fleck of metal stuck on the underside of the crystal just above the 11 marker, the light would catch it. Also the bezel triangle did not align with the 12 marker. I have had 2 genuine Submariners with the rehaut crown not aligned with the 12 marker including the watch above.
If you spend some time on the RolexForums you will see many watches with flaws, misaligned text on the dial, gaps between letters and words.. lol- did anyone see the Explorer with 2 9's on it? It had a 9 where the 3 should have been! It sold on the 2nd hand market for much more than it cost new. How did that pass QC? but it did.. mass produced watches. Rolex QC is almost as bad as Chinese factories.

I'm not into Rolex at all, but I quite like this thread.
It seems to me VSF came up with a pretty good rep of an iconic watch, that for all intents and purposes is indistinguishable from the gen, at a fraction of the price.
Despite this, I see some of the most anal nitpicking to be found on this forum, some of it in the most cryptic of English.
Entertaining for sure, albeit a bit tiring too sometimes.

Make sure you draw diagonal lines across said box to confirm it’s perfect geometry

I mean... seriously: when is it gonna stop? I believe someone's going to jump out of the trenches in a second and explain how all Subs between March 15th 2016 and January 8th 2017 indeed had a thicker date font, but a higher horizontal "f"-line on the dial. And just in case, someone didn't notice: the picture I posted for comparison was a gen... ;)

i accepted my QC of vsf3135 but beat error at timegrapher was 2.1 did i do big mistake ? should i ask for another one ?
