1) buy the tool I shared in the above post
2) buy 1mm Delrin tipped tweezers to handle the hands (less likely to scratch them)
3) gently set the hand in place on the pinion.
4) gently use the delrin tweezers to line it up perfectly
5) don’t touch it or hold it with putty.
6) use the hand press tool to set the hand
I have fairly steady hands and when I used pen tools in the past the hands would rotate/move slightly while I pressed them in place. This isn’t a huge deal on a submariner... but causes a problem on chronograph movements and GMT movements where accuracy is imperative. Hand Press for the win. Should help decrease blemish and increase accuracy. It’s not cheap, but after experiencing the increased precision it’s my new favorite tool.

That date font is neither bold, nor is the cyclops tilted.
it‘s one damn fine watch if you ask me
See my new QC it's not good for me.... i prefer reject it...
I would give you your money back and ban you from shopping with me if I were a TD.
I might not give you your money back actually.
I just wanted to share, I'm not looking for perfection, I have a few replicas and I found them better in some aspects, or my eyes are blinking ... I don't want to create a controversy, next time I'll keep this to myself ...You are looking for perfection. You will not find perfection with a rep. You could reject another 9 watches and still find flaws. Even gens have slight imperfections. If you wanna enter the rep game, and this is me speaking on 6 months worth of experience, you gotta come with the mindset that you can't get a perfect watch. If you want something closer to perfection without paying full gen price, you're gonna have to franken your way in a little bit man. Hope this makes sense.
