I didn't mean to. But you have to understand a few things.
- It's not the TD's fault that a watch comes with defects (even tho that rehaut is not considered a defect)
- TD's offer QC pics and videos as a courtesy, and we should be grateful for that
- It's a f*ckin replica watch, that you can buy for 500 bucks and it looks and feels amazing (also has a good movement)
You can be 2 years on a waiting list to buy a Rolex Submariner with croocked rehaut!
What do you think it will happen if you ask for another one?
They will say - "goodbye", and they will sell it immediately to another customer on the waiting line.
There are some VSF submariners with the correct R and O at 12 o'clock. But they will have bad R and O somewhere else.
It's "the one thing" you have to accept with this VSF sub.
The QC's you've posted looked really good.
That watch is an instant green light.
Also, you can't post QC pics to ask for opinions.

This is the best out of the box VSF I've seen so far. SEL and rehaut is on point. I'd still replace xtal, date and hands but that's just me.

the finish makes the difference and which color they mix with the steel it has nothing to do with 904L even experts will say the same thing. Its just Rolex Marketing lol

I have to agree. I originally denied my VSF LN QC pics and swapped it for an LV as the rehaut is improved on them, but even still in certain angles it looks alittle off similar to the LN — but most angles look spot on.

Mine arrived today black dial with a critical look:
Pros:
- Dial (6 and 9 markers really looks impressive)
- The case shape
- The ceramic insert and the metallic shiney look.
- The hands look beautiful! The fatter hour marker doesn't look bad at all.
- All reflections from SEL and case are spot on.
- Lume (fucking great lume!)
Cons:
- uneven SELs (left top corner and bottom right corner almost flush and no I didn't spot it in the QC but because I never had a Submariner with good SELs I don't care anymore).
- the hour markers on the dial or better to say how they pressed it on the dial because in daylight in some angels it looks like dirt but on all of them and if you look closely its not dirt it's how the Maschine pushed it into the dial but only critical in bright daylight so yeah still I don't like it.
- the crystal is really collecting dust like no other crystal I've ever had before I don't know why but its crazy.
Neutral:
- Datewheel
- Cyclops
- Rehaut
- dimple in the dial is minimal but still looks shit compared to my arf v1 dial.
- bracelet and clasps is no difference to my arf v1 bracelet.
Final Notes:
To be honest not a bad watch but WAY to overhyped, I like the case and the insert (I also must say the difference to the arf v1 insert isn't that big i thought it would be much more but not really) whats really a let down for me is the Cyclops yes it has a little black hole effect but it's nowhere near a Gen crystal sorry but that's just bullshit. It looks not bad and in some light it looks like gen but that's it! Gen is still miles better also the greenish/blueish tint isn't an issue it looks way worse in pictures than in real life still iam not really impressed by the Cyclops compared to my arf v1 cyclops it's a little better but nowhere near Gen. Overall I like the watch it really looks a little bit like gen on the wrist. Can you fool people with it? Yes 100% but compared to my arf v1 the difference isn't that much to be honest (ok case and dial are miles better but else not so much). The watch is a little overhyped in my opinion BUT even with the flaws it looks excellent for the price! It's the best submariner replica I've ever had but still there is room for improvements. Iam actually pretty glad that I didn't bought the ZF version. Because I paid the same price for the old ARF version years ago and when I compare them now I would bassicly go nuts to pay 100€ more for the same watch lol it's really not worth it (atleast for me).
That's it! I like the watch but yeah to overhyped also on some points it's equal with the ZF version (they also suffer from uneven SELs from time to time) so the "VSF has perfect SELs" is just bullshit because everything else on my watch looks great it's just the sloppy Chinese machining.
So that's it critical review over will post some pics against the arf v1 later or make a review thread. I hope I could help some people with a neutral review on pros and cons.
P.S.: the hands look freaking amazing I compared them to the arf v1 hands and the 3D effect is there! Only a little thicker on the outside border the rest looks amazing don't let you get fooled by the pictures I had them side by side with my arf v1 and they both had that nice 3D effect.

Fair enough.
IMO, my VSF is way ahead of my ARF v1 (May 2018) - everything about it is an upgrade. Sadly, the ARF v1 was the best sub they did (after they fixed the insert) - since then, they have spent the last 2 1/2 years slowly going backward.
I got my first rep, a Noob v7 in early 2017. For me, the VSF is closer to the real thing than it is to the Noob v7. That's quite some progress. Maybe in another 5 years, the Chinese subs will be at parity with the Swiss ones - we would never have said that even 3 years ago, but now I think it's not such a crazy thing to contemplate.
I'd put the hype down to it being significantly better than the current ARF, Noob, and ZZFv2s - or everything that was on the market before it. Yes, the crystal falls shot of the gen, but it's also better than on any other rep, diminishing the need to upgrade it.

Sure it's an upgrade to the ARF (I know see the fat lugs compared to the nice VSF case shape) but some people here really hyped it like the Cyclops would be an 1:1 with the gen one and that's not the case. It would be nice but yeah tbh I would be surprised if they ever could manage to archive the same quality as the gen one. I mean there are good and bad ones as well but the gen has really some nice clarity which is really hard to copy. But maybe in the future I hope that the now "old" sub will be upgraded. I hope it will not end like the old 5 digit subs or the old hublots which never get an update since years. That was actually the reason why I bought the VSF in the first place because as you know the ARF v1 was very good after that only shit did come so I hope VSF will upgrade it would be sad if they are only upgrading the new 2020 ones :/

good review recently i am actually thinking of going with the ZF for some reason its subjective but alot of people seem to think that is ootb out of box
Receive my VSF, VS3135 stops after 2 hours, looks like it's not winding, I read that is a common issue lately, I am pretty pissed off, so now, have to spend money to fix this s****

I actually like the VSF more because of the hands and case shape but you can't go wrong with ZF also a great watch and now on the same price level as the VSF
