Here ya go. The cyclops issue looks way worse in this shot due to the angle of the photo, its only slightly off in reality, hardly noticeable unless you are an obsessed rep addict ;-)

I'd love to see the gen next to this.

Yeah its weird you say that because when I first got it I had the same reaction. For me it was the bezel width. I think it might be lens perspective?

The bezel measures 4mm exactly in width. Anyone know the gen's bezel width?

My guess is the bezel is the correct width but the angle at which the bezel sits is slightly out. The Gen is flatter.

Below is a comparison from a popular watch blog review image of the Gen. Even if the above is true, I can live with that when it looks this good next to the Gen until they release the next one and that is resolved.

It looks like they've repped a different watch based on your photos, it looks nothing like!!!!! That said, I agree with the post adove - I suspect it's the photo/lens playing tricks rather than VSF getting the dimensions wrong - it looks correct in all the QC pics after all. Black hole looks good.

It is the lens.
I'm pretty sure that's a close up photo with a smartphone.

A smartphone has an 8mm lens, and crops it heavily with a super small sensor.
The range becomes something like a 24mm full frame, but the 8mm distortion will be always present. I can show some examples if you like.

A quick example.

Left picture was with a 100mm lens and right picture with the smartphone.

On the right I can see that the watch looks much more "round". The lugs look strange and even the bezel looks totally different.

Looks off - more than focal length. The bezel looks to thin vs the diameter. First glance anyway. I'll shop up some td pics against gen later.

Edit - hold on. The QC pics are fine. What potato did you shoot with?!

Yes, the QC pics are nice.
He might have used the ultra wide angle lens on his phone

Of course Gen looks crispier, and the gen photo is much better taken, with better light and reflection control.
Even here, we can see the distortion on the TD's photo, but better than the photo shown before!

The VSF looks really nice, and close to gen.
The VSF bezel looks really nice also.

Can't wait to get mine. I will post some pictures taken with my Nikon Z 6 and 100mm Macro lens...

Haha... just my iPhone 12. Normal focal length. It was a rush job, what can I say.

I have a Fujifilm XT4 with a Macro, ill do some stuff later today and send it through.
