LOVE the look of this piece. Super understated but it also pops. I'll be ordering!

It is bigger, white gold case, bidirectional rotating bezel constructed differently, different dial and hands...
It has some differences.

For me, it's the case shape, polishing and the different bezel that sets the watch appart from the submariner.

Cheers

For me the Sub is a bit same same, the YM bezel with raised numerals for me adds that bit of flair that’s lacking in the sub.

I suppose the "use" part, really not sure on the first version of YM, same design and size. Less water-resistant than sub and no bezel colour.

The YMII is much more useable for true yachting and (I guess) deserves the name much more than the original version...

What was interesting to me was that they raised the YM in size before the Sub, and it's still bigger even now.

exactly, this bezel would have been the update for the 126610 release this year if it wasn't already on the YM. if Rolex models are still considered as tool watches their is no place for this YM...

I love a good mix of a Sub with a Yachi insert. Still haven't decided on a final version for this fantasy piece.

Wonder if they will bring out any of the 40mm variants - or only stick to the 42? Great looking watch, tempting to try the 42.

This is definitely sexier than a tool watch sub. A Rolex that is almost classy - love it

This has the glidelock clasp for the rubber right? I wonder if we can order that separately so I can put it on my 116519 Daytona...

I've had the 226659 high on my list ever since I saw it on the cover of a mag from a resort vacation last fall. This one here could hook me...but my wrist is right at 18cm, the limit of the supplied Oysterflex. Sure would be a let down to get it and find out it's choking my hand blue.....
Andrew, what options can you help with ?

Is the gen oysterflex available in AD or anywhere else? The watch is really beautifull and if you can find a strap anywhere go for it
