Both watches are in the exact same lightning and from different angles. I took them myself, I can assure you that the difference is night and day in both color and sunburst effect. Datewheel is too thin, while on the crystal I must admit they did a great job. One of the best rep crystals I’ve seen.

Is the vsf a nice looking watch?

Is it “like gen”?
Well, no.

My point was not to contradict your claims but more about getting a better Glace at the dials, watches can be on the same light but if they're not on the same spot there will always gonna be variations. As for the datewheel, datejust are well know for having different dw fonts. My vsf black dial has different font than my blue dial. Here a gen showing two different type of fonts.

Just my opinion, of course, but I think the Datejust looks SO much better on the jubilee bracelet.

The black one is a DJ II while the silver arab one is a DJ41.

I know that theyre different watches but the different datewheel thickness it's present on the dj 41, quick search on trf you will see that.

Not saying there’s only one font. Just telling you the vsf one is thinner than any possible gen variation.

I had worked on both gen and reps, modded quite a few arfs. This is the first vsf example I happen to get my hands on.

Be aware I never said it’s a bad watch or anything, just there’s still a long way till they get close to gen.
Nonetheless this is only a V1, look at how factories needed 10 years or so to get close to a simple dial as the 116610 is. There’s quite a lot room for improvement.

In my opinion it's easier to recognize the incorrect cyclops than the datewheel font without a gen as reference. All in all, still ahead of ARF in several details.

Yeah, xtal profile needs a bit work but vsf still has the best non gen xtal atm. To be honest i rather spend the money on plating the bezel than getting a gen xtal.

Yep. Absolutely impossible to unsee that white bezel once you've noticed. It's very obvious in some light conditions.

Here we go as I promise some pictures of YG gen on the left and YG plated vsf bezel. The difference is visible in the naked eye, vsf is very close and at the same time very far from gen. The shape are different, Threads cuts lines are more prone up all the way in a different angle, anyway watch is absolutely beautiful can't wait for v5 lol, gold plating changing a lot and make this watch shines and look more gen I'm sorry for bad pictures quality and my English language as is not my native
