One flaw on the K25Y serial that I don’t see on the early (pre raid?) serial numbers in this thread are the rehaut alignment.
In the early serials the rehaut looks perfectly aligned but when I’m looking at the later pictures of the K25Y and my own I see that the first R and O after the crown aren’t aligned with the minute markings.
I know that some of you thinks “it’s only a rep, what do you expect?!” but after looking at the early pictures I can see that it clearly was possible to get it perfect and I think that it’s not a reach to expect that on the latest serials as well. It’s a shame on a otherwise beautiful and very gen-like watch!
And no, it’s not the angle.

Picture from the thread of an earlier example.

Looks like there is only K25 VSF on the market these days according to several TD.
The K25 VSF looks amazing on picture anyways..

Wait. I hope you know that this isn't exactly a problem right?

On the left-hand side of the ring, the 7 o’clock marker and the 11 o’clock marker should each align perfectly with the R of its respective Rolex engraving. On the right, the 1 o’clock and 5 o’clock indices will align with the X of its closest engraving.

What I mean...

Rehaut on gen, on the modern ones, not every single letter is aligned with the marker....

The R and X of ROLEX align with the markers........ not every single letter aligns with the marker...

On your model... it's perfect from what I can see....

Please do your research on gen

No you’re wrong. They should all align with the minute/hour markers.
Show me one where they don’t align! I can’t find a single one on c24 where they don’t align.
When the gen have miss aligned rehauts it’s because the dial have shifted and it’s just a matter of getting the position of the dial corrected.
This is how it should look and the k25 with the first ROL after 12 are shifted to the right. Dead giveaway as a fake. But if you don’t care then you don’t care and good for you. But why do we care when our watches get improved then and why don’t we just buy a watch from a beach vendor in Thailand?

This looks good. I think this problem only occurs on the black one from the pictures I have seen.
People can care or not care about this but the fact is that they should align. And this forum sometimes confuses me, we praise the manufacturers when they do a great copy but when something isn’t right people (I’ve seen this in many threads) who point it out gets jumped with “buy a gen then”, “what do you expect”, “it look fine just buy it” and so. In this case just wanted to talk about it, see other people’s watches and let people know even if they care or don’t care. I still use my watch so I don’t care that much! :)

For what it’s worth: my black K25 has great rehaut alignment. But on the other hand, the seating of the end links is not good. You can’t rep consistency! Still a great watch I enjoy very much.

It can probably change a little from batch to batch. I’ve seen a couple in this and other threads that are like mine, great sels but a little miss align rehaut at the three first letters. I think they all look great but it’s good knowledge that we have tho be thorough with the qc so that we get something that we can live with :) I really enjoy mine

The angle are always tricking the eye a bit, the whole right side looks a bit shifted “downwards” because it’s not showing on the left side. It might be because of the angle but I don’t know for sure.
Check this and the other vsf thread and you can see that rehauts, sels, hourmarkers, bezel differs a bit even on the same serial.

I'm sure even some gens would some this absolutelly tiny flaw you just dissected at 100x zoom. From the naked out this would be impossible to see.
