Just got my QC pics from JTime and have posted them on Reddit for QC.

Not sure whether the GL this one as the top SEL looks off and the gap between the flip lock and clasp also looks too bigto

The watch looks good men, I would GL it

I agree that the top left sel edge looks too flush. It’s an issue on other vsf I’ve seen with uneven recession which was always very good and gen like on these originally. Ignore some of the “Richard heads” on here buddy. Ask Li to show some other angles if you are not happy, it’s your money!

I also agree on that left side is too flush.

What I suggest as an alternative if other photos show the same ask Li to change the spring bars and see if that makes a difference. It could be a bent spring bar as I recently received two subs and both had uneven SEL's due to spring bars being bent at the tips (no idea how and why they were like that).

Even with the plastic all over it, it looks fantastic. GL for sure!!

I did man thank you

As it’s my first I’ll be honest I don’t quite see some of the flaws others spot

It really IS a nice sub (VSF) but for me it is more important to have the "perfect" bracelet with the genuine feeling clasp locking mechanism and NO gap at the endlinks.

And the best bracelet I have seen is the ARF V2 with VERY genuine like feeling when open/closing the clasp and with no gap at the SEL (at least on my)

It would be nice to see what Li thinks of the difference it is between the ZZF v3/clean and the VSF as he sells BOTH.

For me, perfection in the replica world does not exist (and never will because if they create the perfect clone then the game ends and the factories stop selling).
But for me, I would take a VSF watch, change the bracelet to an ARF and the bezel CF... we could get close to perfection.

Price breakdown:
VSF 114060: 360 euros
CF bezel: 100 euros
ARF bracelet: 150 euros
Total 610 euros, is it worth it in your opinion?

I don't subscribe to this theory. Most people won't buy multiple versions of the same watch - certainly not enough to form any kind of strategy.

It's much more likely that the factories just can't get it right / or don't care about getting it right.

ARF doesn't make bracelets as good they used to - that's a dodgy elevator pitch from CF. And lucky you - VSF does use CF inserts.

My ARF bracelet really IS like a genuine with perfect clasp and no gap what so ever at the endlinks, and I might have been lucky:)?

What construction on the bezel "click" balls does VSF have?

Is it with "balls" real ballbearing balls (not pins !) as the ZZF V3 have?

My 114060 ZZF V3 really has the right "click" feeling as a genuine and not to tight and not to loose!

Is also has a A2836 movement with a genuine complete rotor bridge and is perfectly quiet now:)

Yes I know that it is 0,4 mm difference in height but I do not think it matters as ONLY YOU know it is wrong:)

You never know in the long run if the clone 3130 movement how long it will keep on ticking, with the eta2836 You know it will last for "ever" almost.

Manuel.b is right, You have to buy several watches to build the perfect one:)

This whole theory that gaps doesn’t exist on Gen clasps is nonsense. First pic is my sea-dweller I picked up a few weeks ago.

That’s a hell of a gap if I ever saw one. But for $13k, knowing Rolex screws up makes me feel better about my rep flaws.

Plus anyone waiting on any R factory list knows you get a call or text and you show up and buy it.

Compared to my VSF 116610 gap

Why you want to change bezel? VSF has a Clean one.

IMHO, on this beauty you have only to swipe hands with gen.

Also arf bracelet doesn't even fit vsf, if you got an old arf then you mighr have some luck.

I add, don't think that VSF bracelet is too bad.

Hands are needful.

Frankly, I am shocked to hear this. Do you mean that the ARF 97200 bracelet cannot fit other 6-digit subs including GEN?

It’s your luck if it fits or not. Case holes are all over the place, that’s why we get inconsistent endlink recess etc..

I was lucky, I’ve got an ARF E5N on my VSF, just the links and end links as the end links (on mine) were better than the end links (on my) VSF. Yours may not be better and it may not fit.

Spend $10k on a gen. Take it home in your official Rolex bag with its official Rolex warranty card and its official Rolex papers and its official Rolex box. Never notice the minor flaws that it has, and be happy .
Spend $500 on a rep. Take a picture of it, blow it up 10 times and obsess over the minor flaws and be miserable.

Sead just sorted me with one, got a canyon of a gap bottom left but oh well...some gens have it too. Hoping it won't be as bad in person.

Interesting how most of the QC pics I’ve seen are the same time
