I don't know about instant, but you can definitely see a difference. One of the reasons I liked the Clean better is because they actually seem to have plated the bezel.

Since I don’t have any fluted yet , according to review and pictures I looked on . Gen has this yellowish hue coming from WG. There is a difference in colour between case and bezel . CF are more prone to wear than VSF - what I have read , there is option to replace the bezel with double platinum coated one which will give you this yellowish hue and will be close to Gen .
This is only my research’s
You can't go wrong with double plated platinum bezel. It's definitely an upgrade.

I ordered a bezel from @xingpatrick as well and it's a worthwhile upgrade. You can definitely notice the difference.
I saw green and wimbledon (the 36 dial is unfortunately still incorrect)
Just received this morning , still with plastic wrapping for test purposes

@Kup1712 I saw a wimbledon VSF 36mm with corrected 9 baton marker yesterday. (yellowgold twotone model) So there is some hope that more and more will be fixed

@Kup1712 Haha. Cos you're a good dude and you deserve nice things! 36mm wimbledon must be yours . I was so happy that the baton marker appears to be corrected that I've only just noticed the date isn't even sitting within the datewindow
