that would be 625$ , but as far as I heard, other dealers than Trusty get the watches soonest in March

I've asked Joshua/PC and he just said "available". I've got QC photos and now the watch is already on its way to me. Anyway, it is possible Joshua just gave me his only unit he used for video/photos since the number matches my QC photos ;)

Well, Joshua and Andrew aren't called the twins for nothing. ;)

Haha... limited to "80 units". Cmon guys. You've been there before. It's limited to as many as they can sell. Who will be fixing them on a years time when they stop running is a better question to ask. Possibly, no one- that's what I'd be focusing on. But that's your money, play as you want. Will be interesting to see the reviews, but to me, this is for academic purposes only...

Took the words right out of my mouth. [emoji1]
I know I wouldn't want the one in Andrew's video. Looks like he either doesn't know how to work the rattrappante complication, or it's effed up already. [emoji848]

Andrew trusty is telling me 7-10 days , so looks like polonus Will be the first !

And in a years time if the movement self destructs , throw in a stock a7750 and be on your way

Who knows chris007 might become an expert on the Asian rattrapante movement :)

Luckily, I have a friendly local watch smith to help me with any issues. I have "depraved" him with reps long time ago :) Anyway, the guys is skilled enough to manufacture some missing parts if needed - so I feel kind of safe on this side.

The moment VSF PAM 213 was kind of announced on watchbus - Joshua wasn't able to tell me any details; he got back to me several hours later, after he asked Andrew. The message was pretty much the same as from Andrew - "movement tested over the period of year" and so on. Joshua told me he got the watch for photos / movie and he was amazed how accurately it resets both hands each time, dead on! They played with chrono quite long to trigger problems but nothing happened. When I asked about PAM 213 availability, Joshua confirmed he has one - the one they got first. Probably that's the only PAM 213 Perfect Clones received so far, I guess. Apparently, judging from QC photos the watch is the same Perfect Clones used for photos on their site. I do hope they've given "better" unit to begin with :D

As for Andrew / Joshua being "twins" I feel that Andrew is a "bigger brother" in this.

Andrew just told me it's reliable if you follow the instructions on how to use a rattrapante , so I suppose don't go handing the watch over to mates to play around with the buttons ;)

Andrew told you the movement is reliable?
I'm pretty sure he also told you this is the best 1:1 AAAA+++ rep copied from a real gen....[emoji23]

My initial idea that VSF copied Eberhard mod on 7750 to achieve split-seconds kind of found confirmation in official Eberhard manual for their rattrapante watch, where they are making sure the owner will use rattrapante function exactly this way:

1. start
2. press rattrapante button to stop one of hands
3. press it again to realign both hands
(you can repeat 2 & 3 as many times as you like)
4. press stop
5. reset to zero

and with remark: "This order should be followed exactly to avoid damaging the mechanism."

I have already written the following words in other posts

I usually don't like talking without a serious study or after a careful analysis.
Anyway I would not expect many things or a good future of this rattrapante rep movement.
Even with the high price I can say that it is really difficult to get a reliable and stable rattrapante movement at such a price. Most likely the maker is making a test or checking with this 60-80 units in the market.
Only the reset of the chrono hands together to zero will be a nightmare in a ·cheap" rep movement
Wait some weeks or some months to understand what I'm talking about.
Buyers, be patient. Just an advice

Thank you ALE for your words of advise which are very valid for this situation. If maker is making a test (obviously) with 80 units the fact is that Andrew & Joshua together were given just 2 or 3 watches for them to test with the rest of 80 watches to follow. I made a bet that these 2 or 3 units were "specially" prepared to not to fail in dealer's hands. The chance is I am taking "better" unit from Joshua's hands :) On the other hand - all my observations could not be valid for "production" units... we will see. If my PAM 213 will fail very soon - my watch smith will open it to repair so there will be photos of what's inside :)
