Oh boy, just came across this baby off my dealer's album, working Rattrapente / double chronograph.

How well made is this? sub dial spacing and 6 marker might be of concern?

Honestly, are you guys more excited because it might be a more accurate watch? or because it's got working chrono?

Does it really even matter if rattrapante/ flyback is working or not? 99% of you guys are so afraid to run it in case movement breaks anyways it makes it a moot point really.

As for being accurate rep, the movement's gonna be way way off. Doesn't that mean if you guys liked the watch, you would have gotten the old version 213 / 253 already? Since either way, no one is really gonna call you out on the dial for 99% of the Pams.

This is not directed to any of you in anyway. Just trying to understand the mentality of creating another "good" rep and not a "super" rep as according to Ale's Guide kinda makes no sense.

Look at their new PAM's (441, 1312, 312 etc) I think they can be called more than just "accurate" reps. It is always good and welcome when the factory is trying to introduce fundamentally new..

Most of us are after accuracy here. So whether or not you will use the rattrapante function (the chrono was already working on the old PAM213 as the previous movement could perform that function) is beside the point. It is there, if and when you need to use it. By the way, there is a flaw that is not readily apparent, but it's there and once you know it, you can't unsee it. The "track" around the dial is too wide on this rep. It should be at most the same thickness at the tachymeter markings around it. It was correct on the last version of the rep. I don't understand how they could mess this feature up. :(

Do you have another link? The video does not seem to work.
It works for me on pc and phone but it takes quite a while till the video loads, are there any alternative video hosting sites that is usually used on RWI?

I am more curious about movement. To my knowledge there was no rep that could produce a functioning Rattrapante Chrono function. So while the watch may have flaws, if the maker developed a new movement, this should be of great interest imho

Gen movement was a variation of 7750 judging by the gen photos... so maybe they just did that complication on the top of A7750?

Gen PAM213 movement is OP XVIII
, base on Valjoux 7750. 28,800. 42hours, 31 jew.s

Now can make sure VS PAM213 , 28,800

compared by vidio, Gen and Vs , the case shape looks same. I think It is a new movement.

Mysterio, see all pics, there are parts where the track looks narrower.
Could be a problem due to the distortion of the crystal dome ??
Thoughts??
