Would you mind me asking why you'd opt for gold/rhodium plating?

I've had many, many white gold trinkets. My experience is, after you wear down the rhodium plating ontop of the white gold, it looks pretty dull, and looses it's luster. Sure, white gold as a base without any plating enhancement is more bright than SS. if it is, is it brighter than a ss/tungsten alloy mix? For how long? Patina/aging will give 18kt WG a slight hint of yellow especially if it's being exposed to elements (sun, showers, hot tubs, chlorine pools, carwashing chemicals, etc) over time.

What would you think about getting a bezel mod/gen bezel)? The silver/grey numbers on the bezel look a little off to me, but still don't have the watch in my hand for a real assessment.

It's your choice. Up to you if u want it or not. Having seen white gold rolex models in real life, SS doesn't cut it.

Bezel nowadays are fine. Get in hand before you decide.

I have a 126519 V2 Ghost on order from a different TD. I confirmed several times it's the V2 version that should be PVD white gold. They confirmed it isn't on their website yet (so it isn't the OG gain weight V1 version), and I ordered through WhatsApp. Waiting on QC and excited to see if it real dies have WG warmth to it.

A rule you should follow, don't trust what TD websites say about the watch itself. There is not a ounce of gold in either of those watches plating, I can assure you that.

Yes, of course don't blindly believe some website, but they're literally telling members about the PVD/plating in their conversations about the watch, both here and in direct communication via WhatsApp. Are you saying our trusted dealers are lying to members?

This is fair and 100% agree. Honestly, I don't care about the precious metal itself...I just want the white gold warm tone. However they do that, as long as the finish is somewhat durable, it's fine with me! I'd rather have 0% gold PVD rather than plating with a miniscule amount of gold that just flakes off.

Not my QC (small order number snafu, so this belings to another customer), but the exact same watch/strap size (minus dial color) I'm waiting for according to TD.

Hello yes it’s plated by the factory and it comes in this condition. I think you must avoid scratches on the bezel of course because you may see different layer of metal. I hope it won’t getting worst by use it everyday. Already contact puretime support but I don’t a reply yet.

Another thing to note is that you can see the dial is slightly lower. There's a gap between rehaut and dial meaning some tolerance issue.

yes it's very disappointing that they promote the "no peeling off"... maybe TD can send me a new watch case, im in contact with them
