Relax and use it carefully, forget about the Chono, less is more.FUCKK, i JUST REALIZED this cracked screen just made me look slow & dysfunctional!
Broke my phone yesterday & it isn't responding to normal haptics & my internet connection is pathetic atm, so sorry about the multiple reposts. @mods please remove the comment above this one.
I apologize for inadvertently misfiring
To sum this up, I got this on a whim. Not the "gold model" everyone has been talking about this whole thread, but the "white gold" black stick dial. The watch I orignally wanted, wasn't extemely sourceable (after 2 decided QCs). Seen this just hit the market, was weighted, & an updated model of their first weighted daytona. Movement is kind of iffy from what I've read (please let me know if you any of you have longterm experience with the VS4131 - timegrapher posted below) ..
BUT, GOT QC this morning

Idc about "potential" dust, the movement is being serviced before it ever touches my wrist. Haven't done super homework on their last model, but can you guys tell me what you think about QC? Ordered 4 products in the order, all have been accepted, so not asking for help with QC I'm asking for things that I should "fix" that will make it admirable amongst the communities experts here (ie. glass, hands, bezel, dial- hope not, lol). I know it's all relative, but I'm trying to learn at my own (novice to a lot of you) level.
However you decided to Plate DONT exposed to elements (sun, showers, hot tubs, chlorine pools, carwashing chemicals, etc) over time. Original Richard Mille is like French People they Hate Waters. If you want to go to pool beach etc VSF Sub is the watch for you. Also
Thanks for the opinion bro,
BTW, trying to source a deep xtal for this bad boy.
Would you mind me asking why you'd opt for gold/rhodium plating?
I've had many, many white gold trinkets. My experience is, after you wear down the rhodium plating ontop of the white gold, it looks pretty dull, and looses it's luster. Sure, white gold as a base without any plating enhancement is more bright than SS. if it is, is it brighter than a ss/tungsten alloy mix? For how long? Patina/aging will give 18kt WG a slight hint of yellow especially if it's being exposed to elements (sun, showers, hot tubs, chlorine pools, carwashing chemicals, etc) over time.
What would you think about getting a bezel mod/gen bezel)? The silver/grey numbers on the bezel look a little off to me, but still don't have the watch in my hand for a real assessment.
I feel like I'm being annoying, sorry fellas.![]()
they want your hard cash dollars my friend.A rule you should follow, don't trust what TD websites say about the watch itself. There is not a ounce of gold in either of those watches plating, I can assure you that.
TD marketing and descriptions are grey zone. There is no agreed upon standardization (which is why experienced members always say to do research).they want your hard cash dollars my friend.

At least the Dots in the Crow says this watch is White Gold . Center dot is bigger than the other 2 dots
Wow, I had no idea about their dot sizes. Great info!
