You guys are really making this hard for me. I have been following the whole thread and I'm on the fence between the grey vs the black dial. I'm leaning towards the grey. So if I can get over my indecisiveness I will be ordering from Puretime shortly.

This might help...
Do you already have several black dial dive watches? If the answer is no or this is your 1st rep, I would go with the black one as the black one goes with everything and is a lot more versatile. If you already have several other black dial Dive watches then go with the grey to give your collection a little variety.

This thing feeds on light, finally I pulled a studio like photo without any filters or so...

I’m very aware of date alignment issues by the way

I like the grey one a lot - but there is one problem: if the light does not fit it looks not that good. If the light fits it looks amazing. The black one looks always good ;) and in the right light it has a great grey shimmer

Nanook65 I like your thinking. Most of the dials in my collection are black. I have one blue and two white-faced dials as well. So that makes me lean towards the grey even more. Plus chentepilot posted some great photos, thanks for that. I see what he did there with that subtle psychological manipulation. How dare you good sir ;-).

I snapped a pic of what my watch box looks like right now. https://picr.me/image/VlRrI2

After looking at your collection, I think you should buy one of each....
lol
No, just kidding. I think the grey would be a nice addition to your collection and since you are leaning that way I think you should just go for it. The good news is if you do buy it and you change your mind it will be an easy sell on m2m here and it'll cost you peanuts to find out what you like.

Nanook65 So I have been preparing to make this purchase. Since I don't want to use my personal credit card, I did what Puretime recommended and bought a Mastercard gift card. The VSF is something like $338, I want to get the ss bracelet too so they said it would be another 88, shipping $35. That comes to $461. I bought the card and loaded $470 on it. I have tried to make the purchase but it keeps getting declined. I called giftcard.com and they said the transaction tried to run the card for $496. Sigh... I'm guessing it's exchange rate issue of some kind because nothing else makes sense.

PT have a new domain. The old one is not accessible and the mail addresses are different!
The problem is that the old domain don't redirect automatically the requests and all department mail addresses in the new website are with old domain names after "@" ... at least at the moment when i'm writing this info.

The issue is that they add some cc fees & I'm sure that is what makes up the difference. I never use cc so I am just telling you what others have reported

It's the processing fees. I used a cc - once, it was $75 or so in fees. Once you establish a history, some TDs will let you use paypal. Others use Moneygram or Western Union. Where I live, Moneygram can be used from CVS, Western Union from grocery stores. The fees are less than $20.

I always use Western Union. There is one inside one of those little bank centers inside a grocery store right by my office. It hardly takes any time as I just stop by when I am going there anyway and the fee is usually $13 or $14. I have been doing this for about 3 years and have done so at least 20 times and have never had any trouble.

Ahhh I was unaware of these extra fees. Thanks for letting me know. I guess I will either add more coin to my gift card or just try and use WU.

Hello. In general, are you satisfied with the qc photos of this watch from TD?
Did you reject a lot of watches until you find something you like?
Thanks

You are not going to get a consensus on this one. It is going to depend a lot on how picky you are and how good your TD is. I approved the 1st one and got a really nice one.

I am very happy with mine. I have bought a lot of reps and this one is certainly one of the nicest.
