I have had an Omega bezel fall off because the person assembling the watch forgot to remove the release paper so it never stuck. 8-0
The double-sided tape is really known as transfer adhesive. It is like a sandwich with tape on each side and the adhesive is in the middle. When you remove the tape from each side you are left only with adhesive.

I appreciate the quote, but this is the clone movement... the “8800” is based on a 2824 and I think I’m most likely going to leave it alone or take a lot of parts off.

It’s a 2836-2, you’ll see it stamped on the movement.
Try a YouTube search for that and crown release, at least you might be able to see what you’re looking for and then work out what, if anything decorative needs to be removed.

Figured it out... for all of you with a crooked dial, you have to remove the movement ring...

3 screws between ring and case, 3 on movement and ring.

Nevermind... I’ve resorted to twisting the movement with the crown in. Wish me luck.

This watch looks so good in some of these photos, it almost looks unreal, too perfect - like the computer generated Rolex watches on the official Rolex webpage. Top watch!

I believe it is a ETA 2824 clone but I can't see any way to release the stem with the decoration on. Maybe someone who had de-cased one already can shed some light on this for us...

I hate it actually. It looks like a toy watch to me. But that's just my opinion, I'm sure many people love it. I'm eagerly waiting for the white dial version to be released!

You verbalized my thoughts, I just got my grey one back from marker realignment and regulation. Black one on the way.
