It's a diver mate... Rubber or metal, other straps make zero sense, especially in the summer. Can't think of anything more disgusting than a sweaty stinky leather strap..

Yep, natos can get pretty funky as well.

I like a leather strap on just about any watch in the winter, but I do agree that leather and hot weather do not go well together. Where I live it is just starting to get warm & I am still wearing a leather strap for today, but it won't be long before it is strictly rubber or metal. The other reason for metal or rubber in the summer is for practicality. What do you do with your diver with leather on it when you want to jump in the lake/pool?

Best options for this one for this time of the year are probably rep metal or rep rubber. If you are willing to splurge I am sure that the Gen Rubber is good too. I don't know how good it is, but Zealande made a Rubber strap specifically for this 2018 Omega smp 300 here: https://www.zealande.com/en/rubber-...n_additional_tang_buckle-no_additional_buckle
The Zealande strap isn't cheap @ $175, but still about 1/2 of gen. I think I will probably give it a try and then when I decide that it isn't worth it I will sell it to someone for a bit of a loss. I might even do the same with the Gen, but I am having a hard time coming to grips with a $300 piece of rubber

Oops can a mod delete it please I'll put it in the right section, I get my seamaster Monday :)

You can go back and edit your own post. All you have to do is click on the little edit icon under your own post and then you can select everything copy it and then just delete it and put "Deleted, wrong thread" and then go over to the other thread and paste everything into a new post and post it. It'll take you < 1 min

I'd be interested in knowing how you like it! It's not even so much that I dislike the aesthetic of the stainless strap, it's more that it makes the piece look huge on my wrist.

I ordered the Zealande Strap today. As soon as I get it I will take a few pics and post a few comments on how I like it. I also have the Rep strap on order, but I think that is still 2 weeks out

Strodda thanks can’t wait to get her back had no idea like everyone else here that the whole dial was misprinted hence the misaligned markers everywhere.

As close to looking aligned given the dial misprint is a good as anyone here is going to get until they reprint the dial for a V3. Angus at PT already notified since he talks to the factories.

Mine arrived too! One think struck me a bit. Usually I don't have any problems distinguish between crown positions but with this it's problematic... Does anyone encounter similar problems? Thank you!

Does anyone know what kind of problem it might be if crown positions can't be distinguished precisely? Thanks in advance!
