Oh I see. Thanks for calling me out. It's a bit difficult to decide though I think this is a decent one. Anyway, thanks again.

As long as you think it is decent, the go for it :)

If you are unsure about certain things, tell us and add the QC with issues marked.
Otherwise its against forum rules and there would be hundreds of threads, where ppl arent able to QC for themselves

Thank you

To be honest, I've been figuring out how to remove the post since yesterday. Can someone help me out?

Also, thank you for offering help. I have a question about the QC picture that I got. Is it a version 3.5/4 metal strap? I've been going through the threads to see a sample of the v2 but I can't. I ordered the v4 vsf watch but I've read that sometimes the version of the strap might be wrong.

Press the cross in the circle and choose "edit". Afterwards you can edit the post and delete the links. The post itself can only be deleted by an admin.

The is not v4 v2 is the latest version.

Sorry my mistake. V2 is the latest version for the regular seamaster 300.
I am not aware of the differences between the versions of the James bond seamaster.

First time poster but I have read the QC rules and hope I am not screwing this up here.

I'm a repeat customer of Ryan of Intime and have received initial QC pics for a Seamaster. Similar to previous posts in this thread, I thought the hands and markers were too yellow in the QC pics I received and asked for a new watch that corrected this. I was hoping to get a version of the watch that closely resembled the second watch "FrankenLover " received in his post #3911 above from JTime.

Unfortunately, Intime has come back saying the factory advises this is the correct version and the best they can do. At this stage I am hoping to get feedback from other members in the thread on whether or not the markers and hands on the dial are indeed too yellow or not. Do you think they are too yellow or are my eyes, and potentially the photos, deceiving me? (The first QC photo they sent me definitely looked too yellow and they have subsequently sent me these photos)

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

FYI.....Intime has responded with their normal excellent customer service by offering a refund or credit for another watch If I am not satisfied so this is not a problem with them at all.

There are pages and pages of discussion about this issue in this thread. Ryan gave you the correct info. This one is exactly the same as the other one and any others you might get from any TD right now. Lume is done all by the same Vendor all in large batches. Until they run out (which likely will take a long time) all of them will look the same in real life. All you are seeing is differences in camera settings and lighting.

I have said this quite a few times previously in this thread, but it still applies and it will for the foreseeable future: Please don't bother our TD's asking for different watches with different lume. Better ones do not exist as they are all the same.

You have a few choices:
1) Decide that you can't live with it and move along to another watch. Maybe one day it will be right and you can revisit this one.
2) Decide you are going to give it a shot and then you can either
a) live with it as is or
b) get the hands or hands and markers re-lumed.
c) sell it in m2m and at least for a small price you will know.

Personally I would go with option #2 and take it from there.

its not an QC issue as all the watches are like this currently. If a marker wouldn't be straight then it would be a QC issue.
Honestly I think your watch looks pretty good compared to the last QC I saw. It could be just the camera settings but the lume appears very white and nothing like yellow lume we had before.

If you like the watch go for it. If you cant live with it afterwards either sell it or get the hands/markers relumed.

Thanks for the feedback. I have decided to give it a shot as you suggested as I suspect it will be close enough for me.

Interestingly enough, I started this thread because I thought the hands and markers were too yellow in the original QC provided below.....

....I saw your post (#3993) in this thread advising you thought another watch from the same factory was too yellow as well. I then assumed it was fair to ask Ryan for another watch to review as "FrankenLover" did where it appeared he received a better version from the same factory that he eventually went with. I presume his request for a different watch was okay because in addition to being too yellow, it also had off-centered markers.

Anyway as I said, I have decided to just go with it as the subsequent photos "looked" better to me and I fully recognize were talking about a rep here. If I wanted a perfect copy...I'd buy a Gen!

I personally think that one you have there looks stunning! I really think it’s up to the lighting, whether you’d have yellow or white markers.
And therefore I am very excited to see it in person, fingers crossed it is white in most light

maybe different suppliers or different order dates. I think that they have already new white lume dial but still need to get rid of the old RL. Lets practice a little more patience and I think we will be rewarded by a nice v3.

I found some pics of gens with natural room lighting. I feel like the lume is definitely not pure white. See pics above (all gen).

I just got the V2 from a member on this forum. Can't wait to get it on my wrist. It was hard to tell from the pics provided but I am sure mine will be pretty yellow as well. Hope it doesn't bother me as much.

Gods own country! Yorkshire.
Here is my gen. they are pure white. Had both black and grey dials. Li told me on Xmas Eve that the lume issues are fixed now so I’m ordering another after the hols.

Oh wow... Those are gorgeous.

Are the lumes pure white in all light settings? (specifically the black model)
