This watch wears great, the lugs are nicely curved and the case literally hugs your wrist.

AT might even look larger on your wrist, because of its thin bezel.

Go for it, you can't go wrong.

Does anyone know how much the metal bracelet is from TD?

I just saw that on Ali there seem to be at least 3 different versions of rubber straps, 1 of them seems to look quite close to gen, as some users have said here already. I am going to order one to compare to my original VSF one. I got the black VSF from my TD for 88$ and it cam with VSF packaging etc. I still dont want to believe that the TD is asking 60+$ compared to Ali, so we will see ;)

Does anyone have any recommendations for a screw driver to remove the bracelet?? I have bought two sets of jewellers screwdrivers and the tip is too wide for the slot of the screw... as in the correct diameter but the slot is just too narrow to accept the blade

Go to amazon.

Type in the following.

"Slotted screwdriver 1.xx mm"

replace xx with 00 20 40 60

Then you'll have a 1mm, 1.2mm, 1.4mm and a 1.6mm.

They're around £4 each, translate that to your own currency. Slotted screwdrivers are flat, so they don't scratch. Also, just worth noting, you don't need a screw driver to take the bracelet off. You need a spring-bar tool.

Best would be springbar tweezers. I almost went nuts trying to remove the damn thing. I could really use a third arm. My watchsmith took it off in 10 seconds....

Thanks so much. I will hear that in mind for future reference. I ended up taking it to a watch smith that was able to do it for me

ok, just by the fact that you are new I am going to assume you don't know anything about watches and my answer is based on this. Please don't take this as an insult...
The Crown is a screw down crown. It won't turn clockwise if it is screwed down all the way. Turn the Crown counter clockwise until it pops up, That is the winding position. If you then pull it out just a mm or so that will be the position to adjust the date and if you pull a little harder and pull it all the way out - maybee 4 or 5mm it will then be in the position to adjust the time. Best advice is to pull it all the way out first and adjust the time to 6 oclock or so then adjust the date and then adjust the time. Automatic watches don't like the date to be adjusted around midnight...

Even after a year of owning one, this watch still impresses the hell of me. It always find its way back on my wrist no matter how many new pieces are added to my collection. It’s that good.

The 2018 ver has a date & the 2019 version is no date.

And the 2019 model is also bigger and made of titanium.
Analog967 This is the SS 42mm version, the VSF V2 from 2018. Any TD can get it for you. Currently there's some mismatch between lume on the dial and hands, so I'd wait a bit for the current stock to run out

ah ok gotcha!

Is the the 2018 vsf v2 better better than the vsf 2019 ? I see so many versions, not sure which rep is one to go with? Is there a specific dial colour that's best?

Analog967 they are all good copies of their gen counterparts. So which ever you prefer in gen, you can go for in rep. Just watch out for the ceramic 2019 version as there seems to be a current batch with misprinted dial. Not sure if its been fixed.

I always go black to be sure. Plus I like the black/white/red combo, it's my favorite. I don't like the 2018 blue they chose, it looks like a toy to me. That's my personal opinion, the old SMP blue looked much classier.

I didn't like the 2019 titanium version, I found the dial boring, it's not glossy and the gray color looks dull. Plus the current batch is flawed with a dial misprint, like jpchub has already mentioned.

I'm wearing mine while writing this reply :)
