Is the second pic the SW200? If so, did the decorated parts just go back on without any issues?

feels exactly like gen in the wrist. the bracelet on mine is wrong, but quality wise it is hands down the best rep bracelet I have. it's solid, does not rattle, has smooth edges, clasp action is excellent... it feels like the gen bracelet on my 41mm SMP. also looks like it lol, but I don't care :)

frediiii Thanks for these pics and your insight on the matter, nothing beats the hands-on experience. The difference between the two bracelets is obvious, but put it on a nato and you got yourself a super rep. How much are gen natos anyway?

Hello guys,Im new in this forum,Ive been following this post particularly for some time as I want the seamaster V2 so badly:rolleyes:
My question is, Have you ever guys waterproofed a seamaster VSF replica or you have knowledge about how much I could submerge it?

When I received my V1, I took it to a highstreet watch repairer to have the bracelet resized and noticed the pressure/vacuum tester on the bench.
I had mine tested and passed to 100M (the test device maximum).
Because of the often suspect quality control, I would guess that each rep watch will be different and would always have each one tested.
Best advice is probably not to submerge them at all.

Congratulations on your Fab Trio frediiii

Could I just ask a question about the lume shot- are all the indices, hands and pip the same colour or are the minute hand and pip green? Hard to tell for sure (unless it's my eyesight!)

The lume shot on Ryan's site shows the 2 colours of lume so just wondering before I pull the trigger.

I reckon gen parts for such new models will be extremely hard to come by... also the watch is spot on actually. slap on a gen bracelet or wait for V2 and be done with it.

I had an opportunity to handle the V1 rep at my watchsmith's today ( a customer brought it in to have a gen ETA installed ) and I must say that I'm genuinely impressed! That's a really very well made watch and the incorrect bracelet didn't really bother me. It was the blue version and I despise blue watches, but I could get used to this one :) My watchsmith was also impressed by the build quality. The bezel action on this particular unit was spot on.

Frediiii, you are an inspiration to try this mod :) could I ask you what tools are need it to make this swap? I am about to go shopping!

I used a ball of duct tape to open the caseback and a set of watch screwdrivers, fine tweezers, a cheap movement holder and a hand removal tool to do the actual swap. oh, and some small pliers to unscrew the nut of the winder weight

i also recommend this bergeon rodico stuff to remove dust specs and fingerprints on the high gloss dial before putting it all together :)
