Arrived yesterday. Beautiful piece. I'm going to test it deeply in following days.
If the only problematic part of this VSF model is the 'engraved bezel', then is there any chance that I can buy a gen bezel and switch it with the engraved one?
Is it hard to get a gen bezel?
I don’t know the answer to your question, but even if a gen bezel does fit I would not consider paying Omega $$$$ for it.
The engraving is very shallow so it’s not a big deal in my opinion. Yes you can feel it by running your fingers over it and yes in some lights you can catch tiny shadows from the engraved ‘step’, but you really have to look for it up close. In my opinion having owned one for a couple of months now it doesn’t spoil the watch in any way, it’s such a great time piece!
I wouldn’t send it for service unless its broken. I’ve had 10s of VSF watxhes and the movements are great. No worse than any other rep movements

All reps movements from all makers are essentially over or under oiled. Some have pubes in them..covered in finger-prints Nothing new...well documented. But when I get a watch I just want to wear it!
Any1 know if there is new stock? Or if VSF intends to improve bezel engravings or not?
