If the only problematic part of this VSF model is the 'engraved bezel', then is there any chance that I can buy a gen bezel and switch it with the engraved one?

Is it hard to get a gen bezel?

I don’t know the answer to your question, but even if a gen bezel does fit I would not consider paying Omega $$$$ for it.
The engraving is very shallow so it’s not a big deal in my opinion. Yes you can feel it by running your fingers over it and yes in some lights you can catch tiny shadows from the engraved ‘step’, but you really have to look for it up close. In my opinion having owned one for a couple of months now it doesn’t spoil the watch in any way, it’s such a great time piece!

I agree completely. It's a very very good rep and the engraving flaw is very small. It can only be seen very very up close and under certain lighting/angles. Take the photo Floyd kindly shared above for example, I can't even tell it's engraved from that photo. Would need to touch it, or put it right to my eye, or use magnifying glass on that photo to tell. Plus... the vast vast majority of people don't even know the model or that its meant to be smooth.

I've currently got a deep black on order but was told this morning VSF don't know when they'll have it back in stock. Anyone else have any other info at all? Wondering whether I should just hold out until they do pop up or accept the refund etc. Cheers

i ordered this watch back in january 11th.
My dealer says that according to VSF, they are under production as always. But the speed of production is extremely slow for they lack some critical materials needed for production.

I initially asked him wether the second batch is scheduled in April but was responsed that VSF is under production in low speed. Damn it

After a couple of weeks of everyday use, I found an issue with my watch.

Bad power reserve. 30 hours on first try. Only 16 hours on second try.
I took it off yesterday evening and it stopped today at noon.

Looking closely to the movement, the rotor isn't rotating. It looks like it is stuck. I don't seem to be able to spot anything on sight but I assume it could be a debris jamming it.

The Watch works with no problem. But this situation could be the one that is messing with power reserve?

What you guys think?

Others have reported that VS movements are badly oiled at factory and need servicing on arrival.

I've had contact with Andy at Ohio Watch repair and am considering sending my VSF PO-GMT for immediate service when it arrives. Does anyone have any experience with this shop?

I wouldn’t send it for service unless its broken. I’ve had 10s of VSF watxhes and the movements are great. No worse than any other rep movements

Apart from they’re badly oiled.
It’s well documented tbh

All reps movements from all makers are essentially over or under oiled. Some have pubes in them..covered in finger-prints Nothing new...well documented. But when I get a watch I just want to wear it!

You can wear it. It’ll just be more reliable if it’s serviced. ????????
