watching the videos of Trusty I found that the clone movement is adjusted exactly like the 2824! Setting the time forward turns the crown counterclockwise and setting the date forward turns the crown counterclockwise. There is no difference in the operation between clone movement and 2824 !!!

Correct, but the a2824 have slow date turn. At 22:00+ the date may sit low.

Looks great. Would you say it had a layer of AR underneath / do you have a fat sub to compare the crystal with?

I have a ZF I’ll compare with but I do think it has ar on the inside at some angles and then others I’m not sure. This pic certainly does

I’ll dig the ZF out but it’s getting dark here now so might be best in the morning.

As for the bracelet, it certainly feels better than the first vsf 116610 I had. Seems to have even slightly recessed sels and they are tight on this one. It does not have a premium feel like the ZF/gen bracelet has but it’s ok. Oil bath would make it better. It’s not rattly or squeaky though.
For me it tapers down to the clasp nicely but not had a gen of this to compare with and like some guys I don’t judge looking at pics!

Can you check the spacing on the rehaut serial number? From the picture it seems like the last digit or two may be aligned in the minute market rather than between them, but I haven’t seen any direct pictures of the bottom part of the rehaut.

Yes unfortunately that is the case with the serial numbers.
Some more with my ZF which is stock apart from a gen crown.

I'm waiting on a VSF Smurf, but it seems there is a delay with the general release. Tempted to switch to this one instead - it does look nice.
