That is interesting.I think it was discussed recently here or in an analogous thread that there are two bracelets being used. I have two VSF 116's and they are both wonderfully soft like my gen.. if you are saying one example is sharp then that explains why some have been underwhelmed by the watch and others have been blown across the room.

Haha Im just glad i have 2 vsf to mix and match

I have the VSF 116 LN, LV, and LB and in that order the Rehaut and DW’s are progressively better with the LB having a perfect Rehaut.

I also have a RXF 116 which was the first I bought out of all of them and the Rehaut is Ironically perfect on that one. And I mean absolutely perfect. The only drawbacks on the RXF is the bezel insert is darker, and the movement is 2824.

I love the VSF LN and LV the most. So much so that after I get my 3 VSF DJ 41 Jubilee’s I’m buying another of each.

This time around though I’ll try to get the LN with the updated Rehaut.

Have you posted photos of your VSF LB anywhere? I’m curious to see more of that one, particularly color of dial/gold and midlink plating.

I feel you here, I need the LB too.. and I’ll need the TTLN and LB as well. Trouble is, I just got a VSF126610LV and now I need all of those too. Have you tried a 126610 yet? They amazing too, I think I prefer to the 116..!

Man, we are speaking the same language here. I was close to pull the trigger on the TT but lost me (and I think everyone else) with the unplated sides.

The LB is nice, no doubt but I wear it less than the 116LV as a matter of fact the LV is my most worn out of them all - Gens included.

I haven’t thought of getting the 126610LN or LV and quite honestly I follow the thread and should pull the trigger on both. They indeed do look amazing!

datewheel and hands fit without problems, some members here did it already, crystal also fits, at least with the rep gasket, don't know if gen gasket fits i will try asa my vsf arrives. I assume that bezel will fit as long as you have the whole gen bezel assembly, since nobody tried gen bezel on vsf retaining ring yet afaik

A little late to the party but just another review of this VSF LV..unreal, it looks better than my 2.5k super franken 116710LN..especially the bracelet vs. an ARF one. I don’t fee you need to upgrade anything on it unless you have bags of cash to waste on a fun project

Nemo2019 yep the issue is definitely over-exaggerated (it is definitely there but pretty easy to ignore on wrist) and yours is better aligned than mine too.

Northern Europe. Sending during peak time (before Christmas), using triangle shipping via UK when Brexit kicked in, must have been the reasons.

Now I have a better image for the Rehaut at 3, it doesn't look like the update version, it is awfully aligned. If anyone has any thoughts please let me know.

brianmouse I wouldn't worry too much about this but yours does not look to have the latest updated rehaut. The easiest way to tell is to look at the first "R" next to the coronet. Updated version has less spacing between the coronet and the R and the minute marker is inside of the R more towards the middle.

After a few days on wrist, you will forget all these little details and just love wearing the watch.


EDIT: Take a look at the rehaut on the Hulk above from post #611. Updated rehaut has "R" looking like that.

One of mine stopped working or so I thought. After a wind it would not start up, I thought it was broken. I pulled out the crown as if to set the time and pushed it back in quite hard and it burst into life.
